Load supporting and insulating apparatuses for rails
Disclosed is a rail supporting assembly for supporting a contact rail of a railway system that includes a base, a rail support head positioned relative to the base, and a support member comprising a dielectric phenolic material coupled to and positioned between the rail support head and the base to thereby support and insulate the contact rail. The support member includes a fracture area to facilitate fracturing of a sidewall of the support member when a fracturing force, such as a electrical arc event, is applied to the support member. The support member preferably is coated with a varnish to prevent absorption of water by the support member.
Method for producing a current conducting unit, junction box for a vehicle battery, and motor vehicle
A method for producing a current conducting device, a junction box for a vehicle battery, and a motor vehicle having a corresponding junction box. In the method, multiple busbars are positioned in a predetermined location in relation to one another and then enclosed using an electrically insulating plastic cladding. In this case, a respective opening of the plastic cladding is left open in a respective connection region, in each of which at least two of the busbars meet one another. The busbars are then welded to one another in a respective region of the opening.
Line supply arrangement
A line supply arrangement for electrically powered motor vehicles includes an electric line on a support arm above the motor vehicle. A trolley on the support arm positions the electric line such that a free end thereof hangs down from the trolley for connection to the motor vehicle and charging of an energy store. The trolley is movable relative to the support arm in horizontal direction or the support arm is movable and the trolley relative to the support arm in horizontal direction. Arranged on the trolley is a line reel to lower the free end of the electric line to the motor vehicle, and a hose reel is fixed on the support arm for supply and discharge of cooling liquid to and from the electric line. The trolley is movable relative to the hose reel. A heat exchanger is arranged distal to the trolley for cooling the cooling liquid.
Third rail insulator
A third rail insulator having a head assembly with a channel, and a pedestal assembly. The head assembly and the pedestal assembly are integrated as a single structure to support and isolate a contact rail assembly that supplies power to a transit vehicle. The channel is an open channel that diametrically extends along the upper section of the head assembly. The channel receives the contact rail assembly.
BRACKET TO SUPPORT COVERING OF ELECTRIFIED CONTACT RAIL IN RAILWAY SYSTEMS
An insulated cover board support bracket that includes a self-contained resilient fastener that engages and secures the bracket and in turn cover board to an electrical collector rail of a railway system.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING DIFFERENT VARIANTS OF RAILS FROM AN ASSEMBLY SET, AND SYSTEM HAVING A VEHICLE WHICH IS MOVABLE ON A RAIL COMPONENT
In a method for producing different rail variants from an assembly set, and system having a vehicle which is movable on a rail part, the assembly set includes a rail profile part and two different reactive components, and the rail profile part includes an interface at which one of the different reactive components is optionally able to be connected.
Section insulator for an overhead contact line
Section insulator for an overhead contact line arranged for being placed between two isolated sections of said overhead contact line, said section insulator having an insulating element placed between two contact wires of two adjacent sections of an overhead line; two clamps respectively connected on one side to a respective contact wire and on the other side to a connecting plate arranged for being in turn connected to the insulating element, so that the tensile force due to the contact wires applies along the axis of the insulating bar; and supporting means directly connected to the insulating element through the connecting plates and arranged for supporting the section insulator to the overhead line.
Busbar including a plurality of coaxial sleeves provided with arms endowed with electrical tracks
The invention relates to a busbar (1) arranged so as to electrically connect at least one power electronic module (13) from at least one electrical conductor (6) to which the busbar (1) can be connected. The busbar (1) comprises a plurality of coaxial sleeves (2). Each of the sleeves (2) comprises a plurality of arms (4) that are distributed peripherally and radially around an axis (A) of the sleeves (2). The arms (4) extend longitudinally in parallel to the axis (A) and each include at least one conductive track (5) forming one of the buses of the busbar (1). The invention also relates to a power electronic module incorporating a busbar in accordance with the invention, and to a vehicle fitted with said module.
Section insulating device and use of same
A section disconnect device for a contact line assigned in particular to railborne vehicles as overhead line and carrying high voltage, having a single section arrangement (10) with multiple line sections extending, such that it is tensioned or can be tensioned, between two contact-wire connecting heads (12, 14) and provided with insulator means (36, 38), which line section arrangement is constructed such that it can be mounted by means of respective accommodating sections (66) of the contact-wire connecting heads in an electrically and mechanically contacting manner between exposed ends (16, 18) of the contact line, as a result of which at least one of the contact-wire connecting heads (12, 14) has adjustable level equalization means (66, 68, 70) for interacting with a head-side end (20, 24) of the line section arrangement (10), which are constructed in such a manner that, with respect to a current collector contact, in particular a current-collector-contact side of the contact line and/or a current-collector-contact plane, the free end of the contact line can be brought into a common plane with the end of the line section arrangement and/or seamlessly aligned with the same.
