The electric wire is drawn out from the housing, retained by the slider and slidable within the fixed rail. The slider has an interference-avoiding portion for avoiding interference with the transmission member disposed so as to pass longitudinally through the interior of the fixed rail. Accordingly, the transmission member of the drive device and the slider for retaining the electric wire, which slides within the fixed rail, can be arranged in proximity to each other within the fixed rail while avoiding interference therebetween, thus enabling simplification and a reduction in the size of a rail structure.

Cross Rod For Vehicle Seat Recliner Assembly

A recliner assembly for a vehicle seat may include a pair of recliner hearts and a cross rod. Each of the recliner hearts includes a first plate and a second plate that is selectively rotatable relative to the first plate to recline a seatback relative to a seat bottom of the vehicle seat. The cross rod extends between the recliner hearts and is received in hubs of the recliner hearts. The cross rod transmits torque between the hubs. The cross rod includes ridges that are angularly spaced apart from each other. Each of the ridges includes a first sidewall, a second sidewall, and an end wall extending between the first and second sidewalls. The first and second sidewalls are defined by first and second axes that extend radially outward. The first and second axes are angled such that they do not converge with each other as they extend radially outward.

A rotation mechanism (40) that rotates the seat about a rotation axis, a sliding mechanism (14) that advances and retracts the seat together with the rotation mechanism (40) from a fixed side, and a drive mechanism (50) that sequentially and directly drives each of the sliding mechanism (14) and the rotation mechanism (40) are included. The drive mechanism (50) includes a power source (51) provided in the fixed side of the seat, and transmission means for directly driving the sliding mechanism (14) first, and then directly driving the rotation mechanism (40), in a process of converting the state of the seat with power of the power source (51). Here, the transmission means is formed by a sprocket (58) rotated by torque of a motor (51), and many holes (59) with which the sprocket (58) is rotatably engaged to transmit the power.

A seat lifter includes: an inner link for changing a height position of an inner lower arm with respect to a floor of a vehicle; an outer link for changing a height position of an outer lower arm with respect to the floor, a coupling rod that couples the inner link to the outer link; a planetary gear mechanism capable of causing the coupling rod to rotate relative to the inner lower arm and the outer lower arm; a drive unit capable of driving the planetary gear mechanism; and a power transmission rod that transmits power of the drive unit to the planetary gear mechanism. One of the planetary gear mechanism and the drive unit is disposed outside the outer lower arm in the width direction. The other of the planetary gear mechanism and the drive unit is disposed outside the inner lower arm in the width direction.

An estimator estimates the length of the lower limb of the seated person based on the information regarding the thigh angle obtained by the thigh angle information obtainer and information regarding the back knee angle obtained by the back knee angle information obtainer.

Center console provided with a fixed rail, extending in a longitudinal direction, a translatable member, a gearbox assembly and first and second cables. The translatable member may be coupled to the fixed rail and configured to move between a first position and a second position. The gearbox assembly may include a cable drum configured to rotate in a first rotational direction and a second rotational direction. The first and second cables may each be coupled to the translatable member and a cable drum. As the cable drum rotates in the first rotational direction, the first cable may translate the translatable member towards the first position. As the cable drum rotates in the second rotational direction, the second cable may translate the translatable member towards the second position.

The armrest includes: a base disposed adjacent to the seat cushion; a first module rotatably connected to the base and configured to rotate about a first rotation axis so that a height of the first module with respect to the seat cushion is adjusted; and a second module rotatably connected to the first module and configured to rotate about a second rotation axis traversing the first rotation axis so that the second module is disposed horizontally or vertically with respect to the seat cushion.
