MULTI-FUNCTION SEAT ACTUATOR
A seat actuation control system is disclosed. The seat actuation control system may permit multiple functions to be controlled by a single actuator. For example, a seat floor tracking function, and a seat pan track and swivel function may be individually controlled by a single actuator, such as a rotary actuator.
SEAT RECLINING DEVICE
In a seat reclining device, a seatback frame forming a skeleton of a seatback is coupled to a seat cushion frame to be rotatable about a shaft with respect to the seat cushion frame. One end portion of a first sliding bracket is rotatably coupled to a middle portion of the seatback frame by a driving unit. The other end portion of the first sliding bracket extends toward a vehicle body located behind the seatback. A second sliding bracket is mounted on the vehicle body located behind the seatback and extends toward the first sliding bracket in a front and rear longitudinal direction to be connected to the first sliding bracket. The second sliding bracket is configured to guide a sliding movement of the first sliding bracket while the first sliding bracket is being rotated.
Reclining seat assembly
A reclining seat assembly includes a seat frame, and a backrest frame supported by the seat frame for pivoting movement about a backrest pivot axis. A seat pan has a forward portion supported by the seat frame for relative longitudinal movement, for example, using a slider. The seat pan has a rearward portion that is pivotally supported along a rear seat pan axis by a lower extension of the backrest frame, such that the backrest frame reclines relative to the seat frame upon forward longitudinal movement of the rear seat pan pivot axis relative to the seat frame. A backrest recline angle adjuster on the seat frame, such as a pair of linear actuators respectively coupling the seat frame to each side of the backrest frame along an actuator pivot axis that is itself offset from the backrest pivot axis, maintains a selected position of the rear seat pan support axis relative to the seat frame to thereby achieve a desired backrest inclination.
Convertible seating unit
A convertible seating unit (10, 12, 14, 50a, 50b, 54a, 58a, 58b, 62a, 62b) has at least one convertible seat (20, 56b, 60b, 64b, 80) with a back (30,86) and a bottom (32, 84). The back (30,86) and bottom (32, 84) may be positioned relative to each other in a first configuration to form a passenger seat. The back (30,86) and the bottom (32, 84) may also be positioned relative to each other in a second configuration to expose a space (48,88) accessible from behind and below the convertible seat (20, 56b, 60b, 64b, 80).
SEAT ASSEMBLY
A seat assembly may include a seat support configured to be fixed to a first mounting portion of a mounting surface; a seatback frame having an upper portion and a lower portion; a seat base including a seat base frame rotationally connected to the seat support, and a track movably connected to the seat base frame; and a linkage connecting the lower portion of the seatback frame with the track. The upper portion of the back frame may be configured to be rotationally connected to a second mounting portion of said mounting surface.
SEAT AND SEATBACK LINKAGE MECHANISM
A seat and seatback linkage mechanism includes: a pipe, a side bracket assembly, a seat, a seatback and driving source. The side bracket assembly includes a first side bracket and a second side bracket, and the pipe is mounted on the first and second side brackets. The seat is disposed between the first and second side brackets and includes a bottom surface, the bottom surface includes two first connecting portions and two second connecting portions, and the first connecting portions are pivotally connected to the first and second side brackets, respectively. The seatback is disposed between the first and second side brackets and connected to the second connecting portions of the seat, so that the seatback and the seat are drivingly connected to each other. The driving source is connected to one end of the seatback that is adjacent to the pipe to drive the driven end to move.
Double-deck passenger vehicle
A conventional passenger vehicle has a lower deck and an upper deck on both sides of its aisle to double its seating areas. Each deck has ceiling and seat heights about the same as that in sedans, and hence without substantially increasing the vehicle height. Both decks are divided into seating sections with partition walls, and in a seating section each deck contains only a row of power reclining seats. Each seat has a power footrest mounted separately on the partition wall in front of the seat for sitting comfort and forming a bed with the seat. The footrest can also be placed to higher elevations to use as a table for eating or working. The footrest is stored vertically to allow more leg room for the seat. In some section of the vehicle each seating section may mount two rows of sitting-only seats to increase the vehicle capacity.
SEAT SYSTEM HAVING A SOLENOID-ACTUATED RECLINE LEVER
A seat system for a passenger aircraft. The seat system includes a passenger seat frame having a backrest support assembly including a backrest and a spreaders and spar tube assembly; and a seat bottom support assembly. The seat system further includes a solenoid-actuated recline lever assembly including an armrest or center console connected to the spreaders and spar tube assembly; a counter-balanced solenoid actuator positioned in the seat bottom support assembly; and a passenger operated release switch attached between the solenoid actuator and the armrest or center console. The seat system may further include a seat back tray table attached to the back of the passenger seat frame.
Seat for Transport Vehicles
A seat (1) for transport vehicles with an articulated frame (2) capable of moving and changing shape between a neutral position N and a comfort position C, which comprises a headrest portion (21) mechanically linked by means of a connector (22) to a connection area of a backrest portion (23) that changes the height position thereof as the frame (2) moves from the neutral position N to the comfort position C thereof, the connector (22) being suitable for this change in height position to be transmitted, by means of mechanical drag, to the headrest portion (21), the headrest portion (21) being mechanically linked by means of an upper guide unit (31) of a guide system to the chassis (4) which is configured such that the inclination of both the headrest portion (21) and the backrest portion (23) increase the inclination thereof with respect to the vertical as the frame (2) moves from the neutral position N to the comfort position C thereof.
VEHICLE SEAT WITH INCLINABLE SEAT BOTTOM AND SEATBACKS TO IMPROVE ACCESS TO THE REAR PLACES
A vehicle seat comprising: seatback; a seat bottom mounted pivoting relative to the seatback and a track comprising a fixed element and a mobile element moveable relative to the fixed element. The seat bottom pivots relative to the mobile element of the track. The seatback slides relative to the fixed element of the track. The seatback pivots relative to the fixed element of the track, around the mobile transverse axis. A stop limits the movement of the seatback. The seat bottom is shaped for pulling on the seatback and causing the rotation of the seatback, in case of movement of the mobile element of the track relative to the fixed part once the stop blocks the movement of the seatback.
