A portable tailgate lift platform for lifting and lowering heavy items or home appliances to and from pickup truck cargo bed that is mounted on the open truck tailgate and secured in place by attachment to the anchor points supplied in the truck cargo bed. Does not require any truck alteration. The lift platform operation between ground and tailgate level is by manual or electric winch provided with the lift. Mounting or removal for storage of the tailgate lift platform is easily done by a single person. For transportation to new location the lift is simply rotated from vertical position at the end of the tailgate and pushed into truck cargo bed. Storage in vertical position next to a wall requires minimal space with loading platform folded upright.

An autonomous cargo loading or unloading system for a delivery vehicle is disclosed. The system includes a storage compartment having at least a two high by two wide array of compartment portions that store associated cargo received from or delivered through an opening to the storage compartment. A conveyor is located in each compartment portion and the conveyor configured to assist in the delivery or receipt of the associated cargo from or into the compartment portion. A lift assembly is movably mounted to the storage compartment and configured to receive associated cargo from a compartment portion, the lift assembly including a lift assembly conveyor that receives associated cargo from or delivers associated cargo to a compartment portion. The platform can move vertically up and down, and side to side relative to the storage compartment.

A system for boarding a wheelchair on a vehicle is provided. The system includes a pair of tracks affixed to an interior of the vehicle, a panel slidably disposed on the pair of tracks, and a scissor lift mechanism having a first end affixed to the panel. The system also includes a platform configured for receiving the wheelchair, the platform affixed to a second end of the scissor lift mechanism, a first actuator configured to move the panel along the pair of tracks, and a second actuator configured to operate the scissor lift mechanism.
