PLATFORM ENTRANCE GATE SAFETY BARRIER FOR A MOBILITY VEHICLE LIFT
A lift platform assembly coupled to a floor and capable of transitioning a lift platform between a stow position and a ground level position. The lift platform assembly has one or more arms coupling the lift platform to the floor, a gate mount coupled to the lift platform at an outboard end, a retention gate coupled to the gate mount at a first terminus, and a mount pivot axis defined through the gate mount and parallel to a lift platform plane. The retention gate pivots about the mount pivot axis as the lift platform assembly transitions from the ground level position to the stow position.
LIFTING DEVICE MOUNTED TO A VEHICLE
A lifting device for mounting to a vehicle includes a lifting surface having dimensions that fit a cargo area of the vehicle, the lifting surface being configured to carry a cargo; a telescoping assembly coupled to the vehicle and configured to horizontally extend by telescoping further than the vehicle; a lifting mechanism coupled to the telescoping assembly and to the lifting surface, the lifting mechanism being configured to move the lifting surface vertically to lift or lower the lifting surface. The lifting device further includes an actuating assembly in communication with the telescoping assembly and the lifting mechanism, the actuating assembly being configured to actuate the telescoping assembly to move horizontally in and out of the cargo area of the vehicle and to actuate the lifting mechanism to move vertically down to a loading surface and up to the cargo area of the vehicle.
LOADING/UNLOADING DEVICE FOR A DELIVERY VEHICLE
A loading/unloading device for delivering an item(s) to be delivered. The loading/unloading device includes an outer nested track; an inner nested track nested within the outer nested track; a curved generally U-shaped guide track nested within the inner nested track; and a movable trolley accommodated and movable along the curved generally U-shaped guide track. A drive motor being is supported by a first end of the curved generally U-shaped guide track for conveying the movable trolley back and forth along the curved generally U-shaped guide track for loading and unloading the item(s) to be delivered. A delivery vehicle, including at least one loading/unloading device for delivering the item(s) to be delivered, is also disclosed.
Multi-directional cargo loading/unloading system
A vehicle, cargo transfer device of the vehicle and a method of transferring a package between a vehicle to a delivery platform. A lift platform is extended from a floor of the vehicle via a support structure. The package is moved to the lift platform from one of the floor and the delivery platform. The lift platform is rotated via a turntable through a rotation angle. The support structure supports the turntable and the lift platform. The package is moved from the lift platform to the other of the floor and the delivery platform.
VEHICLE STEP DEVICE
A vehicle step device includes: a movable step that is provided in a door opening of a vehicle; and a drive controller that drives the movable step so that the movable step operates in deployment and storage directions. The drive controller includes a sidewalk detection unit that detects a sidewalk provided in parallel with a traveling road surface of the vehicle, a separation distance detecting unit that detects a separation distance between a side edge portion of the vehicle in which the movable step is stored and the sidewalk, and a deployment amount setting unit that sets a deployment amount of the movable step extending in a width direction of the traveling road surface from the side edge portion of the vehicle based on the separation distance. The deployment amount setting unit sets a deployment amount of the movable step to be larger as the separation distance increases.
DROP DECK TRAILER WITH SUSPENSION SYSTEM, LOADING SYSTEM, AND INTERCHANGEABLE DECK SYSTEM
A drop deck trailer is provided with a deck that has the ability to raise and lower to conveniently load and unload goods and materials on the deck. A pneumatic system can raise and lower the deck and also serve as a suspension system for the trailer to dampen the relative movement between a frame and the deck. In addition, some embodiments of the trailer have a deck with a movable carriage that can move along the deck to automatically load a vehicle such as a golf cart. The carriage has rollers that secure the front wheels of a vehicle, and the carriage moves along the decks to pull the vehicle onto the deck. Moreover, various embodiments of a trailer frame can selectively connect to different decks to allow each deck to be specialized for particular goods and materials.
Rack and pinion lift for a tailgate
The rack and pinion lift for a tailgate is configured for use with a pickup truck. The rack and pinion lift for a tailgate is a moving platform. The rack and pinion lift for a tailgate is configured for use as a cargo lift. Specifically, the moving platform formed by the rack and pinion lift for a tailgate: a) raises and lowers cargo between the ground and an elevation that is roughly level with the bed of the pickup truck. The rack and pinion lift for a tailgate comprises a port structure, a starboard platform, and a loading platform. The port structure mounts on the tailgate. The starboard structure mounts on the tailgate. The loading platform attaches to the port structure and the starboard structure. The port structure and the starboard structure vertically raise and lower the loading platform.
Mountable elevator
A mountable elevator system includes one or more horizontal bearing frames and one or more vertical frames, each vertical frame being connected to one of the horizontal bearing frames. One or more step stringers extend between the one or more horizontal bearing frames and the one or more vertical frames. A multi-piece platform includes multiple step pieces mounted on the one or more step stringers. The cabling is configured to extend and retract the multi-piece platform. One or more step support locking structures can be configured to secure a top step piece of the multi-piece platform, wherein the multiple step pieces of the multi-piece platform separate into multiple vertical levels as the multi-piece platform extends. The multi-piece platform is configured to raise and lower relative to an entry door of a vehicle.
