A METHOD AND AN APPARATUS FOR COMPUTER-IMPLEMENTED ANALYZING OF A ROAD TRANSPORT ROUTE
20230033780 · 2023-02-02 ·

A method for analyzing of a road transport route for transport of a heavy load from an origin to a destination includes i) obtaining images of the transport route, the images being images taken by a drone or satellite camera system, where each of the images includes a different road section of the complete transport route and an peripheral area adjacent to the respective road section; ii) determining objects and their location in the peripheral area of the road section by processing each of the images by a first trained data driven model, where the images are as a digital input to the first trained data driven model and where the first trained data driven model provides the objects, if any, and their location as a digital output; and iii) determining critical objects from the number of determined objects along the road transport route

TRAILER FOR TRANSPORTING AND DISCHARGING BUILDING TRUSSES
20230097686 · 2023-03-30 ·

A truss transportation trailer has a front assembly and a rearward assembly interconnected by a central elongated beam so that the trusses can be supported in an inverted manner between the assemblies. Each assembly includes an outrigger on each side of the assembly along with a pivotable carrier apparatus. Each carrier apparatus includes a telescopic support with an outer shell being pivoted to the frame of the trailer for movement between a vertical orientation and a horizontal orientation extending laterally of the trailer. Each carrier apparatus also includes a head mounted on an inner shaft and having a fixed inner bracket and a movable outer bracket driven by a hydraulic motor to clamp trusses between the two brackets. Once in the horizontal orientation, the inner shaft can extend hydraulically from the outer shell to push the discharged trusses away from the trailer and facilitate the departure of the trailer.

VOLUMETRICALLY EFFICIENT CARGO AIRCRAFT
20220348330 · 2022-11-03 ·

A cargo aircraft configured to carry a portion of its payload in a cargo bay volume enclosed by a moveable nose door and supported by a structural extension of the fuselage that extends forward into the moveable nose door is disclosed. Examples include an aircraft with a continuous cargo bay extending from an aft end of a fixed portion into forward portion inside a nose door, where the portion of the cargo bay in the nose door is supported by a cantilevered support structure extending forward a length from a cargo opening into the fixed portion and such that the support structure extends into the nose door when the door is closed. The length of the support structure defines a supported cargo volume of at least about 15% of the overall volume of the fuselage forward of an aft end of the support structure.

A transportation arrangement (10) includes a truck (32) and a trailer (34) operatively coupled to each other for hauling a blade. A separate dolly vehicle (36) is coupled with the truck and trailer. The transportation arrangement (10) also includes a blade (24) extending between a root end (38) and a tip end (40), wherein a root region (25) of the blade (24) proximate the root end (38) is supported on one of the trailer (34) or dolly vehicle (36) so as to span between the trailer and dolly vehicle. The root region (25) of the blade is pivotable relative to the support element about a first vertical axis (V1) spaced apart from the root end (38). The tip region (29) of the blade (24) proximate the tip end (40) is pivotable relative to the support element about a second vertical axis (V2). At least a portion of the root region (25) and at least a portion of the tip region (29) are configured to extend laterally away from the side of the transportation arrangement when the trailer (34) and dolly vehicle (36) are longitudinally offset from each other.

COLLAPSIBLE FOLDING TRUCK TRUNK
20230079942 · 2023-03-16 ·

A collapsible trunk for use with a vehicle having a wheel well. The trunk comprises a base wall and a side wall pivotally connected thereto. The side wall extends from the base wall and terminates at an upper edge. The side wall and base wall collectively define a storage cavity. The base wall and the side wall each have an expandable portion conformable to the wheel well in response to placement of the base wall and the side wall over the wheel well. The trunk is selectively transitional between a collapsed configuration and a deployed configuration. In the collapsed configuration, the base panels overlap each other, and in the deployed configuration, the plurality of base panels are co-planar to each other. The upper edge of the side wall moves away from the base wall as the trunk transitions from the collapsed configuration toward the deployed configuration.
