CAR TOP HAT DEVICE
A removable hat device for a motor vehicle roof is disclosed, having a base housing, a tubular guide, a hat cover body, a hat base, a central cylindrical support column, and an elongated bolt. The base housing includes plurality of rubber coated magnetic feet adapted to removably magnetically adhere to the roof of the motor vehicle. The base housing further includes an upstanding cylindrical sleeve. The tubular guide is fixed to the base housing. The hat cover body is attached to the base housing via a circular ring shaped platform having a plurality of spokes extruding from the central cylindrical support column. The central cylindrical support column is telescopically received in the upstanding hollow cylindrical sleeve of the base housing. The elongated bolt removably extends through the tubular guide, the hat cover body, the upstanding cylindrical sleeve, and locks at the central cylindrical support column.
System and method for moving and aligning tandem axle lock pins on a semi-trailer
A system and method for moving and aligning tandem axle lock pins on a semi-trailer, having a viewer and a remote receiver that are placeable in communication with each other. The viewer is attachable to a trailer so that a camera on the viewer can be positioned such that the trailer slide rail and tandem axle slider frame of a trailer are within the field of vision. The remote receiver may be a smartphone which can access data from the camera so that the user can from a remote location, such as a cab of a tractor, determine the alignment and orientation of the trailer slide rail and the tandem axle slider frame.
CAMERA MOUNT FOR TRAILER JACK
A mount for a remote camera for use with a jack. The remote camera is wirelessly coupled to a processor-based device, and contained within a housing that is rotatably coupled to a base mounted to a surface, or is integrated within a control box of the jack.
MAGNETIC VEHICLE BRACKET
A magnetic vehicle bracket includes a fixed part and an adsorption part; wherein the adsorption part is provided with an magnetic member; an elastic member and a limit part are arranged between the adsorption part and the fixed part, the adsorption part is capable of sliding relative to the fixed part; the limit part is configured to limit a relative position of the adsorption part and the fixed part after sliding; the adsorption part and the fixed part are restored to an initial position by elastic force of the elastic member after sliding.
Vehicle identification and guidance systems and associated methods
Identification and guidance systems configured to facilitate vehicle management in logistics yards or the like are described. The systems can include an identification and guidance (I/G) unit attached to each transport vehicle within the logistics yard. The I/G unit transmits information (e.g., location and guidance information) over a wireless network to a remote controller. The remote controller can transmit relevant information received from the I/G unit to a portable communications device associated with the transport vehicle to which the I/G unit is mounted. For example, the portable communications device may be located in a tractor being used to maneuver the transport vehicle about the logistics yard so that the driver can use the information displayed on the portable communications device to assist with maneuvering the transport vehicle. Related methods are also described.
Magnet fastener with resilient support including at least one projection
A magnet fastener includes a cup, a magnet received in the cup and a carrier. The carrier receives and holds the cup while the resilient support includes at least one projection that engages the cup and provides a biasing force to prevent rattling or ticking of the cup on the carrier.
ROTATABLE CAMERA MOUNT
The present disclosure is directed to a rotatable camera mount capable of capturing images/video in one or more directions. The rotatable camera mount may be capable of capturing images/video in a direction in which an object (e.g., vehicle) is traveling. The rotatable camera mount may be capable of being rotated in a direction of airflow traveling across the camera mount. The rotatable camera mount may be capable of being directly/indirectly engaged with a mounting base.
Systems and methods for a mountable electronic device holder
A system for holding an electronic device includes a body and a connection device for connecting an electronic device to the body, at least a portion of the connection device attached to the body. The system further includes a clip, the clip having a top portion and a bottom portion, the clip attached to the body. The system further includes a cam lever, the cam lever oriented in the body and in communication with the clip, the cam lever having a first position and a second position, the first position characterized by the cam lever not engaging the clip, the second position characterized by the cam lever engaging the clip, and causing the top and bottom portion of the clip to be pushed together.
ANTENNA AND ACCESSORY MOUNTING DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
An antenna mounting device is provided for a motor vehicle. That antenna mounting device includes a body having a first mounting end with a first cross section and a second mounting end with a second, different cross section. In addition, the antenna mounting device includes an antenna anchor point carried on the body and adapted to receive and hold an antenna. The two mounting sections allow versatility in mounting the antenna mounting device in different structures carried on the motor vehicle including, for example, a stake pocket and a trailer hitch receiver.
Magnetic mount system
A magnetic mounting system is provided. The system includes a device having a magnetic attachment feature and a magnetic device mount. The magnetic device mount has a mating magnetic attachment feature. The magnetic attachment feature and mating magnetic attachment feature allow specific angular, radial, and/or longitudinal alignment of the device relative to the mount without a mechanical interface. An electronic device holder and charging system with integrated charging and data transfer interface and a self-aligning, magnetic coupling and docking interface with on-demand decoupling feature are also disclosed.
