Ride vehicle restraint system
A restraint system for a ride vehicle includes a rigid restraint configured to extend across a passenger to secure the passenger within a seat of the ride vehicle and a soft restraint coupled to the rigid restraint. The soft restraint includes a pliable material configured to conform to a substantial portion of a torso of the passenger and a haptic feedback system integrated with the soft restraint. The haptic feedback system is configured to generate vibrational forces and impart the vibrational forces to the torso of the passenger.
SUPPORT BAR MOUNTED SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MINIMUM CLOSE INDICATION FOR RIDE VEHICLE
Aspects of the disclosure relate to a method, apparatus, and system for restraining a passenger in a ride vehicle. The system includes a ride seat and a restraint system configured to restrain the passenger against the ride seat. The restraint system includes a crossbar for placing against the passenger, a support bar having a first support bar end coupled to the crossbar and a second support bar end rotatably coupled to a pivot mounted to an upper-rear portion of the ride seat, and a flap coupled to the support bar. The flap is configured to insert into, or extract from, a slot formed within a seat side structure when the support bar is rotated about the pivot and indicate whether the crossbar has attained a minimum closed position for restraining the passenger based on a position of a marking on the flap relative to the slot.

An airbag system includes a front airbag device that is provided in front of an occupant and that includes a front bag body configured to be deployed by being inflated by a gas being supplied during input of an impact, a door-side guide device that is provided on a door, and that includes a door-side guide member which displaces laterally toward the occupant from an inner side surface of the door during input of the impact and which is configured to guide the occupant toward the front bag body in front, and a console-side guide device provided on a console, and that includes a console-side guide member which displaces upward from an upper surface of the console during input of the impact and which is configured to guide the occupant toward the front bag body in front.

The present disclosure further describes a vehicle occupant protection system for protecting a vehicle occupant in a vehicle seat comprising at least one restraint element, wherein at least one restraint element of the vehicle occupant protection system is disposed in a module base element according to the present disclosure.

An amusement device seat assembly includes a seat to allow a passenger to sit. A leg space is provided under a seat base for holding a left and right leg of the passenger. The seat assembly includes a leg locking device for retaining an in the leg space introduced lower leg of the passenger. The leg locking device includes a central mount for preventing a laterally inwardly directed movement of a leg. A lateral mount prevents a forwardly directed movement of the lower leg. A bracket which may be operatable by the passenger himself is movable to provide an open or closed configuration of the leg locking device. Advantageously, an intuitively working leg locking device is provided which contributes to a high level of operational reliability.

An amusement device seat assembly includes a seat to allow a passenger to sit. A leg space is provided under a seat base for holding a left and right leg of the passenger. The seat assembly includes a leg locking device for retaining an in the leg space introduced lower leg of the passenger. The leg locking device includes a central mount for preventing a laterally inwardly directed movement of a leg. A lateral mount prevents a forwardly directed movement of the lower leg. A bracket which may be operatable by the passenger himself is movable to provide an open or closed configuration of the leg locking device. Advantageously, an intuitively working leg locking device is provided which contributes to a high level of operational reliability.
