VEHICLE SEAT PARTITIONING SYSTEM AND VEHICLE COMPRISING A VEHICLE SEAT PARTITIONING SYSTEM
A vehicle seat partitioning system includes a partition structure attached to a first and a second backrest structure of a vehicle seat unit. The first and/or second backrest structure are arranged to be foldable between raised and lowered positions in relation to a common seating structure. The partition structure has a first and a second side edge, the first side edge connected to the first backrest structure and the second side edge connected to the second backrest structure. The system further includes a first track unit arranged on the first backrest structure and/or a second track unit arranged on the second backrest structure. The first side edge has a first connection member connected to and movably arranged in relation to the first track unit and/or the second side edge has a second connection member connected to and movably arranged in relation to the second track unit.
Vehicular fluid capture system
A proactive, prophylactic vehicle fluid capture system that embodies an inflatable air-diaper disposed under the engine. The inflatable air-diaper is deployed upon an indication of a sufficient crash event, wherein the deployed inflatable air-diaper catches the above-mentioned vehicular fluid prior to contact with the surrounding ground, thereby lessening the negative environmental impact and clean-up time resulting from the crash event. The inflatable air-diaper may deploy with peripheral sidewalls to facilitate the retention of the hazardous fluid on the inflatable air-diaper. The inflatable air-diaper is made of material adapted to absorb these hazardous vehicular fluids.
ENERGY ABSORBING FEATURE FOR SEATBACK
A seat includes a seat bottom having an occupant support surface, a seatback connected to the seat bottom, the seatback having an occupant support side cooperating with the occupant support surface, and a rear side, and an energy absorbing feature including a rigid member connected to the rear side of the seatback. The rigid member is movable between a storage position adjacent the seatback, and a deployed position extending into a cargo space of a vehicle upon detection or occurrence of an impact event. In the deployed position, the rigid member is capable of interfacing with cargo, a cargo floor, or both, to reduce force imparted on and deflection of the seatback and deflect cargo from impacting the seatback.
DEPLOYABLE SEAT ARMREST
A seat includes a seatback and an armrest supported by the seatback. The armrest is rotatable relative to the seatback to a deployed position. A swing bar is supported by the armrest and is rotatable relative to the armrest to a downward position. The swing bar in the downward position is elongated downwardly from the armrest. A drive belt is indexed with the armrest and the swing bar to rotate the swing bar to the downward position when the armrests rotates to the deployed position.
Vehicle safety device
A vehicle safety device has a connective rod having a proximal end and a distal end, the solenoid assembly connected with the distal end of the connective rod, and the solenoid assembly comprising a solenoid. The vehicle safety device includes a reinforced pad comprising a rigid support plate and a pad portion, the reinforced pad connected with the solenoid assembly. The vehicle safety device further includes an activation assembly comprising a relay device configured to transmit an activation signal to the solenoid.
OCCUPANT PROTECTION SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE SEAT
A seat assembly having an occupant protection system. The occupant protection system may have a deployable shield. The deployable shield may extend around multiple sides of the seat assembly. may extend at least partially around a front of a seat occupant when deployed, may be deployable along a dynamic deployment path based on a detected position of a seat occupant, or combinations thereof.

Vehicle seat and vehicle
A vehicle seat, which is provided in a vehicle equipped with a head portion protecting airbag that protects a head portion of a vehicle occupant at a time of a side collision, includes: a head portion restraining portion that is provided at an upper portion side of a seatback so as to be able to tilt rearward from an upright state, and that restrains a head portion of a vehicle occupant, wherein, when the seatback is tilted rearward beyond a predetermined angle with respect to a vertical direction, the head portion of the vehicle occupant can be protected due to at least a side portion that is at a vehicle transverse direction outer side of the head portion restraining portion covering a side of the head portion of the vehicle occupant.
Head-mounted display having an inflatable airbag
Head-mounted displays (HMDs) are being used more and more for entertainment and work while traveling in vehicles. However, the use of an HMD can be risky in the event of a collision. This disclosure describes a safety system comprising a head-mounted display (HMD) configured to be worn on a passenger's head while traveling in an automated on-road vehicle, a folded airbag, fixed to the HMD, and an inflation system fixed to the vehicle and connected to the folded airbag through a flexible hose. The flexible hose is configured to convey as generated by the inflation system. The system may further detach the flexible hose from the inflation system after the inflation, such that the airbag is no longer connected to the inflation system shortly after the inflation.
