The windshield wiper installation system includes a housing, an installation control unit contained within the housing, at least one positioning member secured to the housing, wherein the installation control unit is operatively coupled to the positioning member(s), and at least one position-setting member secured to the housing, wherein the installation control unit is operatively coupled to the position-setting member(s). The positioning member(s) is configured to be engaged to move the wiper to one or more desired positions on the windshield. The position-setting member is configured to set the desired position(s) when the wiper is at the desired position(s).
WIPER APPARATUS AND VEHICLE EQUIPPED WITH THE SAME
The present invention comprises an AS-side wiper motor 40 including an AS-side output shaft 83 that is rotated in forward and backward directions and a link mechanism 60 constituted by a four-bar link. The AS-side wiper member 50 is configured to wipe in a first AS-side wipe range 11b by a pivotal movement of the AS-side output shaft 83 in a first angular range SA1, and wipe in a second AS-side wipe range 11c by a pivotal movement of the AS-side output shaft 83 in a second angular range SA2 that differs from the first angular range SA1. The wipe range of the AS-side wiper member 50 can thus be switched between the first AS-side wipe range 11b and the second AS-side wipe range 11c by controlling an angular range, in which the AS-side output shaft 83 is pivotally moved, to be in the first angular range SA1 or the second angular range SA2 that differ from each other. In addition, a size of the wipe range can be adjusted by controlling a pivot angle of the AS-side output shaft 83 in forward and backward directions.
Wiper system and wiper system control method
A wiper system performs operation control on wiper driving electric motors and based on position information about wiper blades and attached to pivot shafts, wherein a learning mode in which a position of the wiper blades is learned to correct blade position information is executed after the wiper blades are attached to the pivot shafts, respectively. In the learning mode, the wiper blades are moved to a prescribed position such as a lower retracted position, and that the wiper blades are located in the prescribed position is detected by such means as a sensor, a video image, and contact with a jig. If the wiper blades are detected to be in the prescribed position, the blade position information is corrected to a value corresponding to the position.
AIRCRAFT WINDSHIELD WIPER INSTALLATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A windshield wiper installation system is configured to be used to install a wiper on a windshield of an aircraft.
Control system and control method of a wiper for a vehicle using the same
Provided are a control system of a wiper for a vehicle and a control method of the wiper for the vehicle using the same, which are capable of extending a life-span of the wiper by controlling a parking position of a unidirectional wiper. The control method includes: counting parking times at a first parking position and a second parking position of the wiper; determining whether the parking time at the first parking position of the wiper exceeds the parking time at the second parking position; and designating a parking position of the wiper according to whether the parking time at the first parking position of the wiper exceeds the parking time at the second parking position.
BEARING COMPRISING AN ARM FOR BLOCKING A WIPER LINKAGE IN A POSITION FOR TRANSPORT, LINKAGE SUB-ASSEMBLY AND RELATED LINKAGES, AND METHOD FOR BLOCKING A WIPER LINKAGE IN A POSITION FOR TRANSPORT
The present invention consists in a bearing (1) of a linkage of a wiper mechanism, characterized in that the bearing (1) includes an arm (11) for retaining a link in a transport position, the retaining arm (11) housing at its free end (11a) an element (13) for locking the link in a transport position; said locking element (13) being mobile in translation between an unlocked position and a locking position in which the link is locked in the transport position.
TOOL FOR ATTACHING A REPLACEABLE TREATMENT HEAD TO A WASH MEDIA ELEMENT
A tool for attaching a treatment head to a wash media element of a vehicle wash component includes a nose portion and a handle portion. The nose portion is sized to pass through an opening in the wash media element. The nose portion includes a slot for receiving and retaining a base portion of the treatment head to secure it to the wash media element such that the nose portion and treatment portion are disposed on opposite sides of the wash media element.
Wiper system control method and wiper system
A wiper system 1 has a wiper blade 5 for performing a reciprocating wiping operation on a windshield glass 6 and a brushless motor 2 for causing the wiper blade 5 to perform the reciprocating wiping operation. The motor used as the brushless motor 2 is provided with a rotary shaft for reciprocating the wiper blade 5, has a degree of operation freedom in three axial directions, and is rotatable about axes of two directions orthogonal to the rotary shaft. The wiper blade 5 operates at error angles different in direction between during a forward-path wiping operation and during a return-path wiping operation. When the wiper blade 5 reaches a reversing position, the brushless motor 2 is made to rotate about an axis extending in a extending direction of the wiper blade 5 to change the error angle .
METHOD FOR OPERATING A WIPER DEVICE
The invention proceeds from a method for operating a wiper device (10) of a vehicle (26), which wiper device has at least one wiper arm (12, 12) for holding a wiper blade (14, 14), in particular an aero wiper blade, at least one wiper drive (16) for driving the wiper arm (12, 12) and at least one computer unit (18) for controlling a wiping movement of the wiper arm (12, 12) using the wiper drive (16), wherein the computer unit (18) has a memory unit (20) in which a park position (22), which is associated with a position of the wiper drive (16), is stored.
The invention proposes that the computer unit (18) corrects the park position (22) as a function of a speed of the vehicle (26) in at least one adjustment step (24), wherein a corrected park position (28) lies, in particular in an incident-flow region of the wiper blade (14, 14).
