A streamlined flat windscreen wiper for a vehicle is disclosed. The flat wiper includes a longitudinal wiper blade, at least one longitudinal stiffening member, a longitudinal member for retaining the wiper blade and the stiffening member, a longitudinal streamlined portion including two terminal caps and a central mounting extending between the terminal caps and being connected thereto. The mounting includes means for fixing to the stiffening member or to the member for retaining the stiffening member, and each cap includes means for guiding in translation terminal parts of the member.

A windscreen wiper device of the flat blade type is provided comprising an elastic, elongated carrier element and an elongated wiper blade including at least one longitudinal groove, in which groove a longitudinal strip of the carrier element is disposed. The windscreen wiper device comprises a connecting device for an oscillating wiper arm with end caps provided at both free ends of the wiper blade. The end caps each comprise engaging members sidewardly engaging the wiper blade from the outside. The engaging members comprise retaining means that engage into opposing longitudinal slits on said longitudinal sides of said wiper blade to retain the end caps onto the wiper blade. The retaining means comprises at least one sidewardly extending gripping tooth for gripping an intermediate web of the wiper blade. The gripping tooth is hingeable in a longitudinal plane perpendicular to the vertical median plane of the wiper blade.

The windscreen wiper device also comprises, on the lower part (12) a receiving slot (50) on one side (57) facing towards the windscreen (4), along the longitudinal extent (8) of the wiper blade (2), wherein the receiving slot (50) is designed so that a wiper blade element (51) can be exchanged.

The invention relates to an end piece for a wiper blade, extending longitudinally between a bottom wall and an inlet for inserting a structural element of the wiper blade into the end piece, said end piece comprising at least one first receiving element designed to receive a wiper blade, a second receiving element designed to receive the structural element, and a third receiving element into which a means for attaching the end piece to the structural element extends, the first receiving element and the second receiving element being arranged one above the other in a longitudinal plane (P) of the end piece, characterised in that the attaching means comprises a lug which is flexible around a vertical axis (Z) parallel to the longitudinal plane (P), the flexible lug having an L shape, at least one limb of which extends towards an edge defining the third receiving element.
