Biometric pre-identification
A station device in a biometric pre-identification system uses identity to perform one or more actions. Identities are determined (such as via a backend) using biometric information. A biometric pre-identification device obtains biometric information and/or a digital representation thereof from a person approaching the station device. The biometric pre-identification device transmits such to the station device, facilitating the station to begin and/or perform various actions. The station device begins or performs the actions using the identity determined based on the biometric information before the person arrives at the station device.

Various systems and methods are provided for determining a posture of an occupant of a vehicle. In one embodiment, a method comprises capturing images of an occupant in a vehicle via a vehicle camera, determining a current posture of the occupant and a recommended posture for the occupant based on the captured images and body measurements of the occupant, and outputting a guidance based on a difference between the current posture and the recommended posture. In this way, a comfort of the occupant may be increased by guiding the occupant toward a more ergonomic posture.

The processing platform may determine, based on the automated control information, a control rating associated with the parameter. The processing platform may determine whether the control rating satisfies a threshold for a period of time. The processing platform may cause, based on determining that the control rating satisfies the threshold for the period of time, at least one action to be performed.

A method for controlling autonomous driving in an autonomous vehicle includes detecting a situation in which autonomous driving is impossible while the vehicle operates in an autonomous driving mode, outputting a control-right handover request warning alarm and then activating a minimal risk maneuver driving mode, determining a human driver gaze validity based on the detected situation, determining a human driver intervention validity upon determination that the human driver gaze is valid, and determining control-right handover of the autonomous vehicle based on the human driver intervention validity. Thus, the control-right may be reliably transferred from a system to a human driver.
