One or more powertrains can include a motor-generator disposed therein that is electrically coupled to an energy storage device through an inverter gate. A regulation strategy can monitor operation of the powertrain to regulate the inverter gate to selectively discharge energy from the energy storage device to the motor-generator to assist the powertrain or to charge energy from the motor-generator to the energy storage device for future use. In an aspect, the regulation strategy may maintain a consistent speed of an internal combustion engine associated with the powertrain. In another aspect, the regulation strategy may regulate simultaneous operation of first and second powertrains disposed a parallel relation.

Systems, methods, and devices for assessment of an operator of an electrically motorized vehicle

A system, method, and device for operations of an electrically motorized vehicle. The electrically motorized vehicle can utilize an electrically motorized wheel to convert a non-motorized wheeled vehicle to an electrically motorized wheeled vehicle. A user of the device for the electrically motorized wheel can be profiled by receiving data from a sensor system of the device and creating a profile of the user operating the vehicle from the data.

At a time of HV traveling entailing a load operation of an engine in a CD mode, an electronic control unit sets a required torque Tr* by using a map for a CS mode, in which the required torque Tr* is set to be lower than in a map for the CD mode, as at a time of the CS mode. Then, the electronic control unit control the engine and a motor for traveling in accordance with the required torque Tr*. Accordingly, a rise in the required torque Tr* can be suppressed compared to setting of the required torque Tr* using the map for the CD mode and a sense of high-rpm idling attributable to a rise in a rotation speed of the engine can be inhibited from being felt by a driver.

A clutch control system for a work vehicle includes a controller comprising a memory and a processor. The controller is configured to receive a first signal indicative of an inching pedal position and to determine a commanded inching torque based on the inching pedal position. The controller is configured to instruct an inching clutch to achieve the commanded inching torque while the commanded inching torque is less than a threshold inching torque. The controller is configured to instruct the inching clutch to achieve the threshold inching torque while the commanded inching torque is equal to or greater than the threshold inching torque. Herein the threshold inching torque is calculated based at least in part on a gear ratio established by engaging one or more clutches between an engine of the work vehicle and the inching clutch.
