WHEEL WITH MOVABLE ELEMENTS
A wheel includes a supporting frame, with a central portion having a center around which the wheel can turn, and a plurality of radial portions extending from the central portion angularly displaced with each other. A housing seat is delimited between two adjacent radial portions. A movable element is radially displaceable between a first working position located at a maximum distance with respect to the center, and a second working position located at a minimum distance with respect to the center of the central portion. The radial portions and the movable element have respective distal sections, with respect to the center, curved with a curvature radius corresponding to the curvature radius of the wheel and being flush with each other. A locking element is displaceable between one locking position, wherein it abuts on the movable element and prevents the radial displacement thereof, and one unlocking position, wherein it allows the radial displacement of the movable element toward the second working position. A returning element of the movable element between the supporting frame and the movable element is configured to bring the movable element back into the first working position. A band made of an elastically deformable material surrounds the distal sections of the plurality of radial portions and the movable element, at the circular perimeter of the wheel.

Stair-climbing stroller
The stair-climbing stroller is a baby stroller with retractable front and rear wheels for use on flat travel surfaces and a pair of tracks for use on inclined travel surfaces including, but not limited to, staircases. The front wheels are coupled to a pivoting front wheel support shaft and the rear wheels are coupled to a pivoting rear wheel support shaft. A wheel retract motor located on the underside of the stroller may cause a retraction drive shaft to pivot the front and rear wheel support shafts, retracting the wheels. When the front and rear wheels retract, the stroller may be lowered such that the left and right track rest on the ground. Left and right track motors may then be used to drive the stroller up an inclined travel surface using the tracks.

MANEUVERABLE STROLLERS
Maneuverable strollers are disclosed. An example stroller includes a frame that includes an upper frame support, an intermediate frame support, a lower frame support, and a handle coupled to the upper frame support. The example stroller also includes a front wheel coupled to the lower frame support, an intermediate wheel having an axis of rotation, and a rear wheel. The intermediate wheel is located between the front wheel and the rear wheel. The intermediate wheel and the rear wheel are coupled to upper frame support via the intermediate frame support. The example stroller also includes a pivot axis, where the intermediate frame support is coupled to the upper frame support about the pivot axis, and the pivot axis is offset above and forward to the axis of rotation.

Method for manufacturing maneuverable strollers
Maneuverable strollers are disclosed. An example method for manufacturing a stroller includes mounting a front wheel to a frame; mounting a rear wheel and an intermediate wheel to a connector; and mounting the connector to the frame at a pivot axis such that the intermediate wheel is located between the front wheel and the rear wheel and the pivot axis is located between the rear wheel and the intermediate wheel.
Transportation Device and Stabilizer for Same
A transportation device and automatic tilt stabilizer are disclosed herein. The transportation device has a structure with wheels joined by a shaft to a platform or chassis configured to support a basket, a mat, a seat and/or a tray. The automatic tilt stabilizer is configured to automatically stabilize the inclination of the platform or chassis, and includes a tilt sensor configured to detect an inclination of the platform or chassis, and a motor activated by a microcontroller, configured to correct the inclination of the platform or chassis, so that the platform or chassis returns to a predefined inclination.
Step-climbing attachment for a wheeled chair
A step-climbing attachment for a wheeled chair, the attachment comprising a first wheel having at least a hub and a rim spaced from the hub, the hub and rim defining an inner region, a second wheel having a different diameter than the first wheel, and the second wheel being rotatably mounted to an extending arm, the extending arm being movable relative to the first wheel between a first position and at least one second position by a controllable mechanism, wherein the controllable mechanism is housed at least partially within the inner region of the first wheel, wherein the second wheel is driven by rotation of the first wheel.
