STRUCTURE FOR LOCKING THE CABLE OF BICYCLE
A cable clamping mechanism for a bicycle comprises a linkage member, a fixing screw, a nut and a linkage cable. The linkage member includes a first surface and a second surface. A through hole on the linkage member passes through the first surface and the second surface. The fixing screw is provided in the through hole and includes a cable hole passing through a radial direction of the fixing screw, where in the cable hole is on a side of the second surface. The nut joints a bottom end of the fixing screw. The linkage cable passes through the cable hole. The nut presses against the linkage cable so as to clamp the linkage cable in the cable hole. the fixing screw is rotatable within the through hole relative to the linkage member so that the linkage cable can also simultaneously rotate relative to the linkage member.
Bicycle rear derailleur
A bicycle rear derailleur includes a base member, a chain guide, a movable member and a first link member. The base member is configured to be mounted to a bicycle frame at a frame mounting axis. The chain guide includes a first pulley rotatably arranged around a first pulley axis in a first pulley plane. The movable member pivotally supports the chain guide about a pivot axis. The first link member moves the chain guide between first and second lateral positions. The first lateral position is closer to a bicycle center plane. The first pulley plane intersects the first link member in a state where the chain guide is located at the second lateral position. The frame mounting axis is spaced from the pivot axis by a distance equal to or larger than eighty-nine millimeters when the chain guide is at the first lateral position.

Derailleur hanger
A bracket element configured for installation on an axial inner side of an associated bracket portion of a bicycle frame for the purposes of installing a rear gearshift mechanism of a derailleur system on the bicycle frame is provided. The bracket element may include a first portion, which has an opening or aperture assigned to the axle and which, in the installed state, is subjected to a clamping force which acts between the rear bracket portion. The bracket element may also include a second portion having an installation opening which is radially offset in relation to the opening or aperture in the installed state with respect to the axis and to which an attachment end of a base element of the rear gearshift mechanism is fixable.

Rear derailleur
A bicycle derailleur mechanism is provided which accommodates larger radial spacing and/or smaller radial spacing having a non-uniform value over the respective winding region. The derailleur mechanism cable pull transmission device may provide over its rotational angular range about the rotational axis, which is effective during operation, a variable transmission ratio as a function of the rotational position of the cable pull transmission device relative to the base component.

IMPROVEMENTS FOR COMPACTABLE BICYCLE
A compactable bicycle comprising a frame including a first and second frame portions wherein the frame is unfoldable to a use position for riding by the rider and is foldable to a storage position for storage. The bicycle includes: a rear brake, a rear brake lever, a rear break cable passes through a first cable guide, and a brake cable biasing member that is positioned to urge the rear brake cable back through the first cable guide to be between the first cable guide and the rear brake lever; front and rear wheel connectors to hold the front and rear wheels together; a crank, a front sprocket, a rear cassette, rear sprockets, a chain, and a derailleur; a chain guide that is positioned to engage the chain and to limit a lateral angle of the chain relative to the rear sprocket; or first and second frame element locking surfaces and apertures, and a plunger movable to a clamping position and to a release position.
Bicycle derailleur apparatus for controlling bicycle speed
A bicycle derailleur apparatus for controlling bicycle speed includes a bicycle chain guide and a pair of moldable wires. The guide has opposite sides receiving a bicycle chain therebetween and is pivotally movable in a lateral direction toward and away from a bicycle frame portion mounting the guide. The moldable wires, disposed side-by-side and spaced apart, are mounted to the bicycle frame portion and have respective outer end portions attached to one guide side. By applying a predetermined electric current to the moldable wires at separate times their outer end portions deform from pliable states to respective acute and obtuse angular shapes relative to respective main portions thereof and thereby move the guide to shift the bicycle chain into engagement with one or the other of inner and outer derailleur sprocket gears of different diameter sizes to change the bicycle speed relative to the pedal cadence of a rider.
