A windshield cover and method for protecting a windshield of a towed vehicle, such as a boat, can be removably secured over the windshield when being pulled on a trailer. The cover matches the size and shape of the windshield and is flexible to conform to a curvature of the windshield. The cover has a soft, cushion layer and a waterproof and oil-resistant and non-absorbent material. The cover can have bifurcated panels with a partition corresponding to a passthrough of a boat windshield.

A boat wind and spray protection device which includes at least one panel joined to a coupler-hinge-actuator that is capable of being fixed in relation to a boat. For center console boats, a set of two panels, located on either side of the console of the boat, are designed to open from a position generally parallel and adjacent to the console sides, to an angle and distance sufficient to provide improved passenger protection from wind and spray. The panels may be powered electronically by control buttons that operate electronic actuators, that in turn power the movement of the panels between generally closed to generally open positions, as well as intermediate positions.

A rigid weather guard for a center console of a power boat includes a rapidly deployable protective shield. The shield has a top edge, a bottom edge, a first side edge that is pivotably connectable with a portion of the boat, and a second side edge that is configured for connection with a gunwale of the power boat. The pivotable connection of the first side edge provides movement between an open and closed position. When in the open position, the second side edge is connected with the gunwale securing the shield in place to block adverse weather. Preferably, the protective shield has a transparent portion.

A boat includes a controller that is communicatively coupled to a control screen. The controller has stored therein a plurality of modes corresponding to an activity and includes a plurality of controls corresponding to the activity. The controller is configured to display on the control screen, when one of the modes is activated, the plurality of controls for the activated mode. The activated mode may also be an operating mode that corresponds to an operational condition of the boat. The boat may include a processor that is configured to generate an adjusted audio signal by selecting one or more of a plurality of subranges of frequencies of an audio signal and adjusting the selected subranges to compensate for at least one environmental condition associated with the operational condition of the boat corresponding to the operating mode.
