20220290757 · 2022-09-15 ·

The wind-and-rain guard device for shipping is provided that can restrain wind and rain from seeping in from between the sliding hatch cover and the hatch coaming. The wind-and-rain guard device for shipping 30 includes a water-stop member 31 that closes a gap formed between a sliding hatch cover 11 and a hatch coaming 14 when the sliding hatch cover 11 is lifted from the hatch coaming 14.

Modular cargo bay canopy

Described herein are examples of a watercraft with a hull defining a hull cavity. A canopy may be removably coupled to the hull via a canopy interface. The canopy interface includes a first portion fixed to the hull and a second portion fixed to the canopy. The first portion defines an opening through the hull into the hull cavity. The second portion is configured to be removably coupled to the first portion to enclose and seal the opening whereby the canopy interface is configured to interchangeably couple any one of a plurality of different canopies including the canopy to the hull. Each canopy of the plurality of different canopies may include a different configuration that provides a different access opening into the hull cavity or reconfigures the hull with a different outer profile.

MARITIME HATCH

A two-way openable maritime hatch in which the articulating components that open the hatch, and hold it in an open position, are enclosed within a waterproof seal of the hatch when in closed position. The design uses a double hinge structure, which facilitates opening the hatch in either a forward- or aft-facing position. Elastic gaskets may be used to hold the hatch open in specific positions or at specific angles. Each of the hinge systems are independently operable.

Multidirectional Enclosure Compression Locking Mechanism

A latch system for locking of a door to a cabinet comprises a latch receiver secured to the cabinet and having first and second ramps and a rest surface. The latch system further comprises a door latch comprising a handle, a shank coupled to the handle, and a cam latch supported by the shank. In response to rotation of the handle (in either rotational directions), the shank and the cam latch rotate to cause a lock arm of the cam latch to slidably interface with the first and second ramps of the latch receiver, and to seat against the rest surface, thus placing the door latch in a locked position. The latch receiver can have a plurality of ramps, and the lock arm can have a plurality of cam surfaces, so that it can be locked from both rotational directions (i.e., multidirectional). The door latch can have a compression load adjustment mechanism.

A SAFETY DEVICE FOR PASSAGE OF PIPES ON BOATS
20200290706 · 2020-09-17 ·

The present invention concerns in particular the nautical equipment sector, with particular reference to the installation of pipes on board of boats of any size and kind. In particular, the present invention deals with safety devices for routing pipes between different sectors of the hull, passing through the bulkheads separating the various vans/spaces/housings of a boat. More specifically, the present invention describes a device (1) for the passage of pipes (5) for liquids or gases through bulkheads and decks of yachts, mega yachts and naval vessels in general with fireproof characteristics preferably and in a particularly innovative way, even watertight/tight.
