MADWATER HINGE
The present disclosure is directed to an apparatus that flexibly couples a ramp to a boat dock and to methods for constructing this apparatus. These methods may also include steps directed to selecting material strengths or sizes when designing an assembly that attaches the ramp to the boat dock. By allowing relative up-down motion between a boat dock and a ramp using materials with particular characteristics, apparatus built in a manner consistent with the present disclosure are much stronger than conventional apparatus that connect a ramp to a boat dock. Apparatus consistent with the present disclosure prevent property damage, personal injury, and death that are commonly associated with conventional boat ramps and docks. Apparatus of the present disclosure increase the safety of boat docks and increase the robustness of connection points where a ramp meets a boat dock.
WATERCRAFT LIFT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A watercraft lift system including one or more laterally-adjustable or rotating components and related methods are disclosed. The watercraft lift system can include a cradle assembly and optionally at least one side guide, which can (but need not) be connected to the cradle assembly. The cradle assembly can include first and second cradle rails. One or both of the first cradle rail and the at least one side guide can be movable between a wider watercraft-receiving position and a narrower watercraft-received position. In an example, movement of the first cradle rail and/or the at least one side guide from the watercraft-receiving position to the watercraft-received position occurs automatically upon entry of a watercraft into the confines of the watercraft lift system. The watercraft lift system can further comprise an actuator to cause lateral or rotational movement, for example, of the first cradle rail and/or the at least one side guide. In an example, the actuator can be operably connected to the first cradle rail and/or the at least one side guide via one or more cables or extension plate members.
Submersible Stern Platform Provided with Openings for Recreation
The present invention relates to a submersible stern platform (100) equipped with openings for recreation, comprising an opening (150), one or more secondary openings (160) preferably arranged along the vicinity of the opening (150), the opening (150) being reversibly closed by a gate (151) and the secondary openings (160) being reversibly closed by one or more secondary gates (161).
Powered retractable ladder
The powered retractable ship ladder replaces the current technology of manually-lowered ship ladders. The powered ladder includes powered extension and retraction, with the added capability of being able to lift a user during ladder retraction. The ladder is formed from a collection of links. The links only permit the ladder to bend in one direction, thus keeping the extended ladder against the side of the ship, rather than swinging toward and away from the ship.
BOARDING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A boarding system for passage from one vessel to an adjacent vessel comprises a platform, a plurality of support columns secured to the platform, a stairway attached to the platform, and a gangway pivotally connected to the platform and configured to pivot between a storage position and a deployed position. When the gangway is in the storage position, the gangway is in an upward position and when the gangway is in the deployed position, a distal portion of the gangway engages with the adjacent vessel at an angle corresponding to a condition of the adjacent vessel.

Movable platform assembly with translation system
A movable platform assembly for a boat includes a support structure configured to be connected to the boat, a platform, and a horizontal translation system connecting the platform to the support structure, the horizontal translation system having a pair of main arms rotatable about respective vertical rotation axes, and a pair of main sliders sliding in a transverse direction along a main guide integral with the platform. Each main arm has a proximal end hinged to the support structure and a distal end hinged to a respective main slider. The platform is translatable between a retracted position and an extended position with respect to the support structure.

Underwater dock platform
The underwater dock platform is a platform that is suspended into water. The underwater dock platform is hung from a structure selected from the group consisting of a vessel or a dock such that a client is supported on the underwater dock platform while working at the waterline of the selected structure. The underwater dock platform comprises a plurality of hook structures, a plurality of crossbeams, a dock platform, and a plurality of fasteners. The plurality of fasteners assemble the plurality of hook structures, the plurality of crossbeams, and the dock platform into the underwater dock platform. The plurality of crossbeams brace the plurality of hook structures. The dock platform forms a horizontal supporting surface for the client. The underwater dock platform is a collapsible structure that rotates between a deployed position and a collapsed position.
