Inflatable personal bodywear flotation device
A persona! flotation device for a user comprises a bodywear member, as well as a container containing buoyant gas and an actuation assembly, both of which are mounted to the bodywear member. The bodywear member is to be worn to by the user such as on the wrist or the neck. The actuation assembly is in operative communication with the container containing buoyant gas for selectively being actuated so as to provide fluid communication between the container containing buoyant gas and the inflatable member. Actuation of the actuation assembly provides for releasing the buoyant gas into the inflatable member causing the inflatable member to inflate and provide buoyancy to the persona! flotation device.
RESCUING AND POSITIONING ASSEMBLY
A rescuing and positioning assembly includes a bag which is inflatable; a surface of the bag having textures or drawings for displaying rescue indications; an inflation device for inflating the bag; a connecting wire having one end connected to the bag; a light emitter installed on the connecting wire; and a bracelet connected to another end of the connecting wire; the bracelet used to be worn on the user's body so that the bag may be tied to user's body for indicating where the user is and for avoiding to separate from the user. In use, the bag is inflated by using the inflation device, and the bracelet wears on the user's body. Thus, the user can float on water. The bag could indicate a position of the user and textures or drawings on the bag and light from the light emitter will alert others to keep attention to the user.
EMERGENCY FLOTATION DEVICE USING COMPRESSED GAS
A flotation device for providing emergency flotation for a person swimming or passing through a body of water, comprising a container filled with a charge of a gaseous material under a pressure such that it is in its liquid phase at normal environmental temperatures. The container is connected to a flexible flotation chamber through a passage which remains normally closed until actuated by the user. When the device is actuated by opening the passage, the charge expands into the flotation chamber, thereby inflating it, and providing support to the user in the water. The gaseous material has thermodynamic properties such that it remains in its liquid phase right up to the maximum temperatures to which the device is expected to be exposed to. Consequently, its volume, and hence the internal pressure within the gas container, does not increase significantly, thereby enabling the container to be of lightweight construction.
Arm rescue device
An arm rescue device with a long rigid grab handle, a short rigid grab handle, a first and second attachment strap designed to be attached to the forearm of a person. The long grab handle terminates at both ends in a downward disposed extension post which each terminate in an attachment plate. The short grab handle is attached in a perpendicular orientation to the long grab handle. The first and second attachment straps each include a double layer allowing each attachment plate to reside between the double layers causing the attachment plates to be fixed to the attachment straps. A preferred embodiment includes the grab handles having resilient rubber-like coverings that provide a more secure grip for a rescuer when in the process rescuing a person wearing the arm rescue device.
Personal signal device to be used for water sports
A personal signal device can be worn on an arm of a water sport participant and includes a signal flag that is stowed in a pouch of the device and can be removed from the pouch and manually waved by the water sport participant when the water sport participant is in the water.

EVACUATION GUIDING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SHIP
Provided in a system and a method for guiding evacuation in a ship are: a personal distribution information obtaining unit configured to obtain, based on information from cameras provided in the ship, passenger position information in predetermined areas in the ship; an evacuation route calculating unit configured to formulate, based on the passenger position information from the personal distribution information obtaining unit and passage passability information set from event information of evacuation, evacuation routes; an evacuation information managing unit configured to share information with the personal distribution information obtaining unit and the evacuation route calculating unit, and output the evacuation routes formulated by the evacuation route calculating unit; and an evacuation guiding unit configured to modify, based on the evacuation routes output by the evacuation information managing unit, evacuation guidance display provided in passages in the ship.
Floatation device
A floatation device for use by an individual in a body of water, comprising of an upper body covering and two fabric covered inflatable sleeve elements. The upper body covering contains multiple gussets that hide the male or female end of a clasp device. The fabric covered inflatable sleeves contain the opposite end of the clasp device which allow them to be securely fastened to the upper body covering in one or more locations.
Safety, rescue, and recovery apparatus and method
A safety, rescue, and recovery device that compressively secures to a limb of a user when inflated. The device can be easily adjusted to be negatively buoyant, neutrally buoyant, or positively buoyant before inflation depending on whether the application is safety, rescue, or recovery. The device may also be integrated into an article of clothing for certain applications. An elongated handle is attached to the device to provide a sliding attachment point for a rescue rope that automatically reduces torque applied to the limb of the user. Consequently, a rescue force applied to the rescue rope can act at a variety of angles along an arc relative to the device.
