Underwater propulsion device
An underwater propulsion system is disclosed comprising a foot board with one or more battery-powered propulsion units. A throttle control system may be enabled in the foot board such that a movement of the user's foot controls the throttle. Flattened Lithium batteries allow thin lightweight construction of the foot board. Use of trolling motors as propulsion units provides thrust advantages over pre-existing underwater scooters.

Personal flotation device with safety features
A personal safety flotation device which can be carried on a person for an evacuation requiring entry into a body of water. The personal safety flotation device is for individual use comprising a carrying bag and an inflatable platform which is stowed in the carrying bag in a deflated state. The inflatable platform has a hexagonal shape allowing stability on the water and ability to connect to other inflatable platforms to create a larger surface area. The inflatable platform comprises additional safety features such as an emergency radio beacon, LED lights, light reflective strip, radar reflective pad, rope around a perimeter, and spring hooks for attachment. The carrying bag is attachable to a person and upon entry into a body of water the inflatable platform is automatically inflated with a connected compressed gas cylinder and the inflatable platform remains connected to the carrying bag via a connection strap.

COLLAPSABLE TRANSOM FOR INFLATABLE RAFT
A collapsible transom for an inflatable raft has a front section including two parallel front struts and a rear section including a floor portion and a collapsible support portion. The floor portion includes two parallel rear struts, and the two parallel front struts and two parallel rear struts are slidably connectable to each other by insertion into tubular end portions. The support portion is pivotally connected to the floor portion and movable between an expanded position with the support portion substantially parallel to and spaced away from the floor to a collapsed position with the support portion adjacent the floor.

A MARITIME EVACUATION SYSTEM
A maritime evacuation system to be installed on a vessel or offshore facility comprises a storage unit to be installed on the vessel or offshore facility, at least two survival crafts, each having a hull, predominantly made of non-rigid inflatable tubes and one or more shells, the survival crafts being configured to be stored in the storage unit in a deflated state, each survival craft comprises at least two engine powered propulsion means, the maritime evacuation system further comprising a central control unit being operatively connected with each engine powered propulsion means, wherein the central control unit is configured to observe the condition of and test the readiness of each engine powered propulsion means at predetermined intervals so that it is continuously monitored if the maritime evacuation system meets the requirements for being ready for rescue.

Flat inflation device
A device for the inflation of an inflatable life vest, notable in that it includes a storage casing containing at least two cartridges of pressurized gas which are arranged side-by-side and touching one another to form a row, and a release casing comprising at least one striker device that makes it possible, in the event of activation, to puncture each of the said cartridges simultaneously or in succession to release the gas they contain in gaseous form to the outside of the inflation device through at least one orifice made on the release casing, the said storage and release casings being in the overall shape of a flattened hollow parallelepiped and joined together removably and in a manner that is gastight with respect to the gas contained in the said cartridges.
