A method for filling a package with a group of pairs of packs, comprising supplying a group of pairs of packs simultaneously from a transport device to a package, vertically spacing the two packs of each pair of packs of the group of pairs of packs from each other in the package, and horizontally spacing each pair of packs from each other in the package. The method further comprises maintaining a horizontal spacing between each pair of packs of the group of pairs of packs while supplying the group of pairs of packs to the package by guiding the pairs of packs of the group of pairs of packs along space bars provided in the transport device.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRINTING ON A PACKAGE
A system for printing on a printable portion of a liner for a package to receive smoking articles includes a package assembler configured to receive an outer blank and fold the outer blank around the liner to create the package. The liner comprises a material configured to absorb ink and a front surface, the front surface configured to be seen by a user when the package is open. The liner also includes a printable portion positioned on the front surface, the printable portion configured to receive ink. The system further comprises a printer coupled to the package assembler, the printer configured to dispense the ink on the printable portion when the package is in an at least partially assembled state.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR STRAPPING A GROUP OF PACKAGES
A method for strapping a group of packages, in particular for products of the cigarette industry, with a strip of packaging material, wherein the packages are brought together to form a cuboid group and are then strapped with at least one strip of packaging material. The at least one strip of packaging material is provided on one side with a preferably continuous layer of adhesive, and the group of packages is completely strapped with the at least one strip of packaging material, wherein the layer of adhesive is brought into direct contact with the packages of the group.

Tobacco product package
The present invention relates to a tobacco product package that comprises at least two, preferably five or more, cylindrically shaped tobacco products aligned in an alignment direction. A wrapping is sheathed around the tobacco products and covers at least part of the outer surfaces of the aligned tobacco products. A tear strip is disposed in the alignment direction along the wrapping and is configured for tearing apart the wrapping when being pulled by a user. According to the present invention, the tear strip has at least one weakening line positioned in the vicinity of an interface of adjacent tobacco products.
Combination For Transporting Spacers For Cigarette Packs
A pallet for transporting spacers for cigarette packs is disclosed, in which each spacer comprises a substantially rectangular flat body on which at least one through hole is obtained, the spacers being insertable in cartons for cigarette packs for spacing out packs with dimensions smaller than the standard dimensions, the pallet comprising vertical elements configured to insert the through holes of the spacers stacked on one another, the holes of the spacers of a stack being vertically aligned with each other so that each vertical element is inside the aligned holes of the spacers.
Combination For Transporting Spacers For Cigarette Packs
A pallet for transporting spacers for cigarette packs is disclosed, in which each spacer comprises a substantially rectangular flat body on which at least one through hole is obtained, the spacers being insertable in cartons for cigarette packs for spacing out packs with dimensions smaller than the standard dimensions, the pallet comprising vertical elements configured to insert the through holes of the spacers stacked on one another, the holes of the spacers of a stack being vertically aligned with each other so that each vertical element is inside the aligned holes of the spacers.

A pack of smoking articles includes: a group of smoking articles; an inner wrapper folded around said group forming a tubular wall wrapping said group, and an upper wall covering a head end of said group; an outer wrapper folded around said group wrapped in said inner wrapper, to form a tubular wall that wraps said group wrapped in said inner wrapper, and a lower wall covering a bottom end of said group; wherein said upper wall is formed by at least two upper flaps which are connected to said tubular wall of said inner wrapper and are folded against said head end to completely cover said head end. The pack includes a tab, arranged protruding from an edge of one of said upper flaps and fixed on a corresponding portion of said inner or outer wrapper to keep said upper flaps against the head end.

A packaging machine to make an airtight wrapper includes a wrapping sheet wrapped airtight around a structured assembly consisting of an organized group of smoking articles associated with a reinforcement insert. The reinforcement insert includes, in working sequence on one or more cyclical conveyor devices of the wheel or carousel type, a structured assembly formation unit, a combination unit suitable to combine the structured assembly with said wrapping sheet, a wrapping sheet work unit and a welding unit.
