Tape sealer
An apparatus for sealing an object, such as a bag, with a one-sided adhesive tape includes a rigid base fixed with a rear plate that has a tape roll spindle rotationally attached thereto. A front plate is fixed with the rear plate with at least one standoff, defining a gap therebetween for holding a sealing mechanism. The front and rear plates each include a sealing pathway traversing a top side of each plate and terminating at an orthogonally-oriented cutting pathway. The sealing mechanism comprises an indexing wheel, a tape brake having a tape engaging surface urged against the indexing wheel, and a tape cutter having a cutting blade fixed with an upper end thereof. An object cutter includes a blade for cutting the object when the object is moved through the cutting pathway.
Bag Resealing Device
A bag resealing device for use with prepackaged bags to prevent spillage and aid in food preservation.
Bag sealing tape, and banding device and banding method using the bag sealing tape
A bag sealing tape which can be repeatedly used without damaging a banded object such as a bag or the like when the object is opened, and which does not have to be separated for disposal; and a banding device and a banding method using the bag sealing tape. The bag sealing tape includes adhesion zones and non-adhesion zones, and the adhesion zones are disposed on the surface of a base film in a stepping stone manner in a length direction of the base film.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SEALING FLEXIBLE CONTAINER
A device configured to form a temporary seal for a flexible container may include a housing comprising two panels, the housing comprising, a taping implement and a sealing system, the taping implement configured to provide a portion of a tape roll to the sealing system, the sealing system comprising: one or more tape supports configured to position a dispensed portion of the tape roll proximal a sealing pathway, a wheel with one or more protrusions configured to seal the flexible container as it passes through the sealing pathway. A cutting implement positioned to be at least partially within the sealing pathway can cut excess tape such that the flexible container can be removed from the device once a seal is formed. A device may include a positioning tool designed to assist with the positioning of the flexible container to advantageously reduce pain typically associated with repeated sealing of flexible containers.
Tape closure apparatus with digital encoder
A tape closure device for securing the neck of a bag with a tape closure includes an automated control system, a tape feed assembly configured to provide a continuous length of tape and a closure application assembly. The closure application assembly also includes an encoder wheel that outputs to the automated control system a signal representative of the length of tape provided to the closure application assembly from the tape feed assembly during the closure cycle. The tape closure device further includes a motorized cutting member that is connected to the automated control system and configured for selective activation by the automated control system in response to the signal provided by the encoder wheel. The selective activation of the motorized cutting member allows the tape closure device to create a tape closure that based on the length of tape drawn into the closure application assembly.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SEALING OR TYING PRODUCTS
An apparatus for sealing or tying products includes a housing with a first tape dispenser comprising adhesive tape and binding means for binding tape from the a dispenser around a product or a bundle of products, At least one supply device is provided for supplying items to be connected, to the product or bundle of products. The binding means comprises a cell and an urging device for urging part of the product or bundle of products into the cell, especially towards a closed side of the cell. The urging device comprises a holding provision for holding an item provided by the supply device, such that when the urging device is operated for urging the product or bundle of products into the cell the item is urged against the product or bundle of products, preferably prior to binding the tape around the product or bundle of products in the cell.
DEVICE FOR SEALING A BAG WITH TAMPER EVIDENT LABELING
A device for sealing a bag includes a substrate having a slit. A ribbon supply supplies a ribbon. A printer assembly prints on the ribbon. A ribbon guide, rotatably disposed on the substrate on a first side of the slit receives the ribbon and guides the ribbon therethrough. A pressing tip is formed on the ribbon guide. An adhesive tape supply supplies an adhesive tape. A star wheel, is rotatably disposed on the substrate along the slit on an opposed side from, and in facing relationship with, the ribbon guide. The star wheel receives the adhesive tape and a portion of a bag moving through the slit, and applies adhesive tape to the bag. The pressing tip presses the ribbon against the adhesive tape and the bag. A cutter disposed along the slit, downstream of the star wheel cuts the ribbon and adhesive tape.
Sealing tape
A sealing tape to be used with a sealing device includes an adhesive surface to which an adhesive is applied and RFID tags are attached; and a non-adhesive surface being a back side of the adhesive surface. The sealing device includes a tape supply reel for supplying a sealing tape to which an RFID tag has been coupled; and a sealing part for sealing, with the sealing tape, an opening of a plastic packaging material holding a product, wherein the sealing part adheres the RFID tag, which is coupled to one end of the sealing tape having the length for one use, to an adhesive positioned on the other end portion of the sealing tape having the length for one use, wherein the RFID tag is broken by the adhesive strength with respect to the other end portion when the sealing tape sealing the plastic packaging material is torn.
METHOD FOR CLOSING A MESH BAG AND BAG OBTAINABLE BY MEANS OF SAID METHOD
A method for closing a mesh bag including applying an ancillary closing element around a transversely collected portion of the bag, tightly girdling the same, thereby determining on a first side of the closing element a storage portion of the bag and on a second side of the closing element, adjacent thereto, a mesh bundle. The method further including the operation of bonding yarns of the mesh bundle together to form at least one bulge that acts as a retainer as it prevents, by abutment with the ancillary closing element, the mesh bundle from passing from the second side to the first side of the ancillary closing element.
