Closure debonding system
An easy-opening end closure that may also be reclosed, suitable for joining to a container. A cover panel is bonded around its perimeter to an end panel with a rotatable lever interposed between them. To open the closure, a user applies force to the rotating lever to move it axially around an attachment point thereby engaging integrated mechanisms to progressively debond segments of the perimeter seal.
END CLOSURE WITH VENTING
An easy-opening end closure that may also be reclosed, suitable for joining to a container. A cover panel is bonded around its perimeter to an end panel with a rotatable lever interposed between them. To open the closure, a user applies force to the rotating lever to move it axially around an attachment point and thereby progressively debonding a substantial portion of the bond perimeter. The closure incorporates means for equilibrating pressure in the internal headspace of the container with the outside ambient for improved pouring.
CLOSURE LATCHING SYSTEM
An easy-opening end closure that may also be reclosed, suitable for joining to a container. A cover panel is bonded around its perimeter to an end panel with a rotatable lever interposed between them. To open the closure, a user applies force to the rotating lever to move it axially around an attachment point and progressively debond the seal perimeter. In this process, latching mechanisms ensure uni-directional movement of the lever relative to the shutter and joining of the two components at the end of the rotational sweep.
Unknown
A closure for containers providing a seal when closed. A pull tab lifted to open provides a venting action, and a pour opening. A sanitary platform covers a drinking area around the pour opening. Closure contains electronic device components triggered to engage a user in games of chance through the use of a cellular phone.
Closure system for beverage cans
A closure system for a beverage container includes a lid with upper and lower sides, a drinking orifice, a closure member for closing the drinking orifice, and an operating member for manually opening the drinking orifice by a user. The closure member is positioned at the lower side of the lid and fixedly connected with the operating member on the upper side of the lid, the closure member configured to overlap the drinking orifice in a closed position. A movement of the operating member in a first direction along a first axis substantially parallel to the upper side of the lid causes movement of the closure member from the closed position and opening of the drinking orifice, and a movement of the operating member along the first axis in a second direction causes movement of the closure member into the closed position and reclosure of the drinking orifice.
Can lid, can and method for manufacturing a can lid
A can lid for a can includes a lid panel with a pouring opening, an actuating element on an upper side of the lid panel, and a closure element disposed on a lower side of the lid panel which faces an interior of the can with the can lid attached thereto. The closure element is shiftable between a closed position, in which the closure element closes the pouring opening in a liquid-tight and/or gas-tight manner, and an open position, in which the pouring opening is at least partially uncovered, along the lid panel substantially translationally in a guided manner by the actuating element. The closure element and the actuating element are made of a metallic material and are fastened to one another by a riveted connection and/or a welded connection that moves along a guide slot in the lid panel during shifting of the closure element.
CAN LID, CAN AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A CAN LID
A can lid includes at least one lid panel having at least one pouring opening, an actuating element disposed on an upper side of the lid panel, and a closure element disposed on a lower side of the lid panel. The closure element is fastened to the actuating element by a connection and is movable by the actuating element between a closed position, in which the closure element closes the pouring opening in a liquid-tight or gas-tight manner, and an open position, in which the pouring opening is at least partially uncovered. At least one protrusion is defined in the lid panel facing the closure element, and an air channel is formed between the closure element and the lid panel by a deflection of at least a section of the closure element at the protrusion, when the closure element is being moved towards or is in the open position.
CLOSURE SYSTEM FOR CONTAINERS
A closure system for a container for liquids or bulk material includes a lid having an upper side, a lower side and a drinking orifice, a closure member for closing the drinking orifice that is positioned at a lower side of the lid and configured to cover an entire surface of the drinking orifice in a closed position, an operating member for manually opening the drinking orifice by a user positioned at the upper side of the lid and connected to the operating member, and at least one recess defined in the lid and disposed relative to the closure member such that, when the closure member is moved from the closed position via the operating member, the at least one recess is at least partially overlapped by the closure member such that a gas exchange occurs between an interior of the container and an environment.
Method for producing a lid with closure
The invention relates to a method with the following steps: provision of a lid panel with a pouring opening and at least one guide opening, preferably with two guide openings; bringing together of an inner slide piece and a side of the lid panel that is provided as container inner face; bringing together of an outer slide piece and a side of the lid panel that is provided as a container outer face; connection of the inner with the outer slide piece via at least one connection element arranged at least partially in the at least one guide opening; bringing together a closure element and the side of the lid panel that is provided as a container inner face with the inner slide piece; and producing a coupling between the closure element and the inner slide piece.
