At least one of the channels includes a surrounding framework to safeguard against tilting. The lid is selectively mountable in two orientations to close the container or to provide handles for propelling and/or steering the shipping container. An expandable storage location for empty packaging is provided at an exterior of the shipping container.

A transport container, featuring a bottom plate with at least two holes for accommodating means of attachment for affixing fixed, track, or swiveling casters, a plate (1) affixed from the inside to the bottom plate for affixing fixed, track, or swiveling casters on the bottom plate of the transport container. The MP comprises a mechanical actuation assembly used to deploy a plurality of roller assemblies used for moving the MP. Also disclosed is an actuating attachment used to deploy the mechanical actuation assembly of the MP. The actuating attachment can be attached to a conveyance vehicle, such as a forklift, or built in to an automated guided vehicle.

A span of the rod is at least half of the length of the rod. The pallet includes foot arrangements having parts configured to guide the pallet onto a bed of the transport device. The transport device includes the bed, a chassis and articulations enabling rotation of the bed relative to the chassis. The bed includes side beams that are configured to engage with the parts of the foot arrangements thereby guiding the pallet onto the bed. A system includes the pallet and the transport device.

The upper portion has a first width, and the lower portion has a second width. The cart is configured to reversibly receive the base. The cart includes a guide member configured to guide either of the base or the cart into a predetermined position when the base is received by the cart. The assembly further includes a bracket having a first end and a second end which is configured to selectively secure the planar material to the assembly. The base has a series of apertures configured to accept the first end of the bracket. The second end of the bracket is configured to be selectively coupled with the upper portion of the frame.

A cart and rack assembly for transporting a planar material includes a rack and a cart. The rack includes a frame coupled to a base. The frame has an upper portion and a lower portion. The upper portion has a first width, and the lower portion has a second width. The cart is configured to reversibly receive the base. The cart includes a guide member configured to guide either of the base or the cart into a predetermined position when the base is received by the cart. The assembly further includes a bracket having a first end and a second end which is configured to selectively secure the planar material to the assembly.
