Large Volume Container And Stackable Container Arrangement
A container having an upper container part having an upper container part outer profile, the upper container part having a height; a plurality of sidewalls that extend radially about at least a portion of the container, the upper container part extending from a radially inner end of the plurality of sidewalls; a container base has a central female coupling formed therein, the central female coupling having a receiving profile that is complementary to the upper container part outer profile and a depth that is greater than the height of the upper container part; and a body extending between the a radially outer end of the plurality of sidewalls and the container base. The plurality of sidewalls and the container base are longitudinally spaced apart from each other, substantially parallel to each other, and at least partially overlap radially.
System for Packaging a Plurality of Packages on a Pallet
A system for packaging a plurality of packing units consisting of packaging sleeves and packing-unit overwrapping on a pallet is illustrated and described, including: a plurality of packing units made of packaging sleeves and packing-unit overwrapping, the packing unit overwrapping enclosing the packaging sleeves; a pallet for stacking the packing units; pallet overwrapping, which encloses the packing units stacked on the pallet; and at least one insert provided under and/or between and/or over the stacked packing units, wherein: the packaging sleeves are produced from a composite material; each packaging sleeve has a front side and a rear side; the front side and the rear side of each packaging sleeve are separated from one another by folding edges, along which the packaging sleeve is folded flat; each packaging sleeve has two openings which are arranged on opposite sides of the packaging sleeve; each packaging sleeve has a longitudinal seam which connects two edges of the composite material to form a peripheral packaging sleeve; and the pallet overwrapping is produced from a plastics film. In order to allow space-saving, cost-effective and secure transport of packaging sleeves, the invention proposes that the packing-unit overwrapping be produced from a plastics film.
MEASURING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PALLETIZED LOADS
A measuring system associable with a group of products wrappable with a plastic film to form a palletized load. The system includes a supporting frame provided with a supporting plane for the group, first and second detecting modules housed inside the supporting frame and provided with first and second sensor units to detect and measure first and second physical quantities acting on the palletized load when it is moved and/or transported, a processing module having first and second computing units and first and second memory units positioned on the supporting plane, inserted among the products and having dimensions and weight comparable to that of one of the products. The first and second computing units, first and second memory units and first and second detecting modules form first and second measurement chains of the first and second physical quantities.
Pallet Bag System
This invention relates to a pallet bag system for bags enclosing items, pallets loaded with bags containing items, and containers containing such loaded pallets.
BUNDLE OF TUBULAR AND/OR ROD SHAPED GLASS ARTICLES, METHOD FOR ITS FABRICATION AS WELL AS FOR UNPACKING SAID BUNDLE
A bundle of tubular and/or rod-shaped glass articles is provided that includes a longest dimension, a plurality of layers (N.sub.L) of the glass articles, and a thread-like element. The longest dimension extends in a first direction. The glass articles in each layer are arranged side by side in a second direction. The plurality of layers are arranged side by side in a third direction. The first, second, and third directions being perpendicular to one another. The thread-like element is around two of the glass articles in at least one layer so that the two glass articles are spaced apart.
METHODS OF MAKING, PACKAGING, AND DELIVERING COMPRESSED HOLLOW CORELESS REFORMABLE ROLL PRODUCTS
A compressed hollow coreless roll of absorbent paper sheet produced by way of providing a roll of absorbent paper sheet by winding the sheet about a forming core member having a diameter in the range of 30 mm to 50 mm; removing the forming core member such that there is provided a hollow coreless roll of absorbent paper sheet with an axial cavity having a diameter in the range of 30 mm to 50 mm and compressing the hollow coreless roll such that, the axial cavity is substantially collapsed. The compressed hollow coreless rolls are readily re-formed into cylindrical shape. Space-saving packages of the rolls are overwrapped with tubular polymer film to provide a flexible reconfigurable package of a series of individually encased rolls. Volume reductions of about 10 to about 20%, about 14% to about 20%, 30%, 40% and more as compared with conventional products are realized.
PACKED BODY PRODUCTION METHOD
There is provided a method of producing a packed body that does not fall off and collapse during transportation and does not cause damage to cartons and paper material locally and around which a packing film can be wound easily. A packed body production method includes a first step in which a layered body is formed by stacking cartons containing toilet paper rolls and in which an insertion section into which a fork unit of a forklift is inserted is formed at a predetermined position in the layered body, a second step in which a first packing film is wound spirally around at least side surfaces of the layered body, and a third step in which a second packing film is wound around the layered body so as to close an opening of the insertion section.
Method for creating at least one opening in sheath made of stretch film that retains goods stack arranged on pallet, and shaping apparatus for carrying out the method
A method for creating an opening in a sheath, made of stretch film, that retains a goods stack arranged on a pallet. The pallet comprising an upper-side deck surface as support for the goods stack and lower-side support feet. The sheath engages under the support feet arranged in the region of the four outer edges of the pallet. At least one opening is in the sheath between two support feet . At least one opening is generated such that the sheath is first heated, the heated sheath is retracted from the pallet and then, still in the heated state, displaced upward. The upwardly displaced sheath is secured in its upwardly displaced position by cooling. The invention also relates to a shaping apparatus, and additionally to at least one heating device for carrying out the method.
UNITIZER AND METHOD OF LOADING A CONTAINER USING THE UNITIZER
Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a unitizer sized, shaped, and otherwise configured to surround and unitize two vertically stacked palletized loads and a method of loading a shipping container with unitized and non-unitized palletized loads.
TRANSPORTATION BASE LOAD UNITIZER
A transportation base load unitizer for unitizing a load on a transportation base, such as a pallet. The unitizer comprises at least one elastic section and at least one protection section for providing greater protection to a load on a transportation base than the at least one elastic section. The unitizer is configured such that, in use, the unitizer holds together as a unit and protects a load on a transportation base.
