Closure member for a food container
A closure member for a food container including a multilayer laminate having a first layer of material at least partly light-permeable, a second layer of plastic material, a third layer of repositionable adhesive material interposed between the first and the second layer, at least one inner weakening line obtained on the second layer and extending according to a predetermined geometry defining, in use, an access gap to the container, at least one outer weakening line, obtained on the second layer, proximal to the peripheral edge with respect to the inner weakening line at least at the hand gripping portion, wherein the second layer has a predetermined graphic pattern printed or realised on at least one of its faces.
BOTTLE OR CONTAINER SEAL
A seal for a bottle or container that provides a purchase that eases the removal of the seal. In certain embodiments, a first section of the seal is sized to generally match the shape of the top of the bottle or container and a second section of the seal is attached to the first section to provide a purchase for removing the seal. In certain embodiments, additional sections may be attached to the second section.
Tabbed seal with oversized tab
Various enhancements of tabbed seals are provided herein with enhanced grasping functionality. Such enhancements include an oversized tab structure for increasing the overall surface area of the tab. In some forms, the tab has been configured such that the overall gripping tab is larger, but a portion thereof is temporarily adhered to the lower laminate, such as during seal and/or cap installation. Instead, the gripping tab includes a small free portion and then a second, temporarily bonded portion that can either release or rupture, permitting the overall grippable portion of the tab to be large.
Lidded container
A lidded container, which enables contents to be poured from a specific part, is provided. A closing seal portion joining a lid to a flange portion of a container comprises: a main seal portion having a first end and a second end; and a projecting seal portion having one end and the other end connected to the first end and the second end of the main seal portion and projecting toward the opening of the container. A width of a leading end portion which is a portion of the projecting seal portion, which is closest to a center point of the opening of the container, is smaller than a width of an opposing portion which is a portion of the main seal portion, which intersects with a center line passing through the leading end portion of the projecting seal portion and the center point of the opening of the container.
STORAGE AND DISPLAY ASSEMBLY FOR A SHAVING RAZOR SYSTEM
A storage and display assembly for a shaving razor system. The assembly comprising has a case with a top portion and a bottom portion. The top and bottom portions being coupled together so as to be movable relative to one another between a closed position and an open position. The top and bottom portions, when in the closed position, define an inner cavity sized to receive the shaving razor system. A securement cover associated with the top and bottom portions to maintain the top and bottom portions in the to be moved to the open position. The securement cover comprises at least one of product indicia closed position. The securement cover being removable from the case to allow the top and bottom portions or product imagery.
Thermally laminated tab liner
Liner having an induction heat sealable layer for sealing to a rim of a container, and a pull tab for ease of removal of the liner from the container rim. An insert is disposed between multilayer upper and lower components, has a heat bondable polyolefin layer that is thermally laminated to polyolefin layers of the upper and lower components, forming a pull tab between the integrated polyolefin layers. The resulting composite resists delamination and can be formed in a single thermal lamination step, avoiding the multiple lamination steps, associated high equipment costs, and complex layer constructions of the prior art.
CONTAINER CONSTRUCTION WITH FLEXIBLE LINER AND ONE-WAY VALVE
In an embodiment, the invention comprises a container comprising: a base; at least one sidewall extending upwardly from the base and terminating in a top edge, wherein the at least one sidewall is paper-based; a removable flexible membrane adhered to the top edge, wherein the membrane comprises a one-way valve; a liner ply at least partially adhered to an interior surface of the sidewall, wherein the liner ply is configured to at least partially release from the sidewall upon a pressure differential between the pressure within the container and the external pressure.
SEALED CONTAINER
A storage container includes a bin portion configured to hold items. The storage container also includes a first lid portion configured to close the top of the bin with a substantially airtight seal. The first lid portion has a substantially planar region and a raised rim extending at least most of the way around the periphery of the substantially planar region. Further, the storage container includes a sub-bin portion disposed within the bin portion and coupled to the bin portion.
Multi-portion removable cover apparatus and related methods
Apparatus and methods are disclosed for sealing openings on containers and other structures, permitting selective removal of portions of the seal structure, and for similar selective removal of portions of adhesive elements such as bandages.
