The present invention is directed to a bag of polymeric film and a method to make the bag. The bag can be comprised of a front panel and a rear panel. The front and rear panels can each be comprised of multiple layers of film. The bag can be formed from a collapsed bubble of polymeric film that has been folded in half so that opposing edges of the collapsed bubble form an opening of the bag. One of the layers of the folded bubble can be split adjacent to an edge of the collapsed bubble and a draw tape film can be inserted between the layers of the folded and collapsed bubble. The collapsed bubble can further be embossed by a pattern that can provide enhanced properties to bags formed from the folded bubble.

A reusable container for storage, transport, and sale of firewood. The container has a rectangular floor panel supporting a plurality of vertically disposed wall panels. The wall panels are connected at a first end to the base so as to provide a container having an open top for loading firewood into the container. One or more handles are secured to a second end of one or more wall panels and a closure mechanism is provided for closing a portion of the second end of one or more of the wall panels around the firewood in the container. The container is a reusable container.

A reusable container for storage, transport, and sale of firewood. The container has a rectangular floor panel supporting a plurality of vertically disposed wall panels. The wall panels are connected at a first end to the base so as to provide a container having an open top for loading firewood into the container. One or more handles are secured to a second end of one or more wall panels and a closure mechanism is provided for closing a portion of the second end of one or more of the wall panels around the firewood in the container. The container is a reusable container.

The invention is directed to a polymeric film web, a carrier film, and a magnetic member. The carrier film comprises an inner polyethylene terephthalate layer and an outer plastomer layer. The magnetic member and the carrier film are layered onto the polymeric film web to form a closure member. The outer plastomer layer is adjacent the magnetic member and the carrier film extends beyond an upper edge and/or a lower edge of the magnetic member. The closure is heat sealed such that the seal at the interface of the first carrier film and the second carrier film is a peelable seal, the seal at the interface of the first film web and the first carrier film is a permanent seal, and the seal at the interface of the second film web and the second carrier film is a permanent seal.

The invention is directed to a polymeric film web, a carrier film, and a magnetic member. The carrier film comprises an inner polyethylene terephthalate layer and an outer plastomer layer. The magnetic member and the carrier film are layered onto the polymeric film web to form a closure member. The outer plastomer layer is adjacent the magnetic member and the carrier film extends beyond an upper edge and/or a lower edge of the magnetic member. A bag is provide for receiving and holding contents at least as heavy and bulky as a portion of a large animal carcass. The bag may configured to be carried by a person and may including a containing portion defining a closed end, an open end opposite the closed end, and a side portion interconnecting the closed end and the open end. The open end may be configured for operation between a holding configuration for holding the carcass portion in the bag and a passing configuration for passing the carcass portion through the open end. The bag may further include a closure mechanism adjacent the open end for selectively closing the open end to provide the holding configuration and opening the open end to provide the passing configuration. The bag may also define a midline between the open end and closed end and further include a handling structure positioned on the closed end side of the midline.

Continuous method for making a web of draw strip bags, comprising providing a film web (F) wherein a first portion (11) and a second portion (12) overlap each other with free longitudinal side edges (7, 7′) thereof being essentially aligned with each other, back folding a first part (13) having said free side edge (7) of the first portion (11) outwardly away from said second portion (12) along a first fold line (B) by a first hemmer (120), and by folding a first subpart (15) of said first part (13) along a second fold line (C) whereby the free side edge (7) of the first portion (11) is brought into near alignment with said first fold line (B) while a second subpart (14) of said first part (13) of the first portion (11) remains back folded, whereby said first and second subparts (14, 15) of the first portion define a first hem (H1).

Continuous method for making a web of draw strip bags, comprising providing a film web (F) wherein a first portion (11) and a second portion (12) overlap each other with free longitudinal side edges (7, 7′) thereof being essentially aligned with each other, back folding a first part (13) having said free side edge (7) of the first portion (11) outwardly away from said second portion (12) along a first fold line (B) by a first hemmer (120), and by folding a first subpart (15) of said first part (13) along a second fold line (C) whereby the free side edge (7) of the first portion (11) is brought into near alignment with said first fold line (B) while a second subpart (14) of said first part (13) of the first portion (11) remains back folded, whereby said first and second subparts (14, 15) of the first portion define a first hem (H1).
