Embodiments of a multi-compartment beverage bottle system and methods of manufacturing the system are disclosed. First and second housing elements are in mutual engagement with one another to at least partially define a fluid vessel with a fluid cavity therein. The fluid cavity includes a first fluid compartment and a second fluid compartment. The first housing element is rotatable between a storage position and a mix position with respect to the second housing element. A shuttle element is disposed within the fluid cavity and axially actuatable along the main axis into and out of a seal position. Rotation of the first housing element toward the storage position actuates the shuttle element toward the seal position. Rotation of the first housing element toward the mix position actuates the shuttle element away from the seal position, thereby placing the first and second fluid compartments into fluid communication with one another for mixing.

The first receiving valve assembly includes a receiving valve member, at least a portion of which is separable from a portion of the first receiving valve assembly. This creates an opening that provides fluid communication to the chamber when a force is exerted on the receiving valve member of the first receiving valve assembly. A second valve assembly located at the second end of the measuring adapter includes a valve member. At least a portion of the valve member of the second valve assembly is separable from a portion of the second valve assembly to create an opening that provides fluid communication to the chamber.

In certain embodiments, a tube is attached to the cap. In certain embodiments, a nozzle collar having a tapered end is adapted to attach to a container.

A closure for a beverage container that includes a base portion configured to couple to the beverage container, a top portion rotatably engaged with the base portion, the top portion comprising a drinking opening, and a central portion removably coupled to the base portion and to the top portion, wherein the central portion comprises a plug. The central portion moves in a first direction along a central axis when the top portion is rotated about the central axis from a first configuration to a second configuration. The central portion moves in a second direction along the central axis when the top portion is rotated about the central axis from the second configuration to the first configuration. The central portion seals the drinking opening when the top portion is in the first configuration.

A tamper evident device, comprising: a container; a valve; and a cap; wherein both the valve and the cap may each have a tamper evident device. The cap and the valve are configured to matingly engage in a closed and open position, such that any excess liquid is recaptured and directed back into the container. The tamper evident devices may be rings and frangible bridges that snap or break when the device is tampered with or opened.

Fan orifice dispensing closure

A dispensing closure for a squeeze-type container produces a fan-type spray in a low pressure environment. The dispensing closure includes a closure body having an upper deck and a skirt depending from the upper deck. The skirt is configured and arranged to attach to a product container, such as a squeeze-type container. A flow conduit extends from an interior of the closure body and through the upper deck to provide a flow path from an interior of the closure to an exterior of the closure. The flow conduit has an entrance orifice and an exit orifice. The flow conduit has an inner wall extending between the entrance orifice and the exit orifice. The flow conduit and the closure body are integrally formed. The flow conduit includes a tip portion with an exit orifice defining a shape to provide a fan-type spray in a low pressure environment.
