Vented container for housing a scented product and related methods
A container for housing scented product includes a bottom wall, a top wall, a plurality of longitudinal sidewalls, and a plurality of lateral sidewalls. The container further includes a scented product disposed within the cavity and a first plurality of selectively openable and closable vents extending through the top wall of the container. The first plurality of vents is configured to at least partially open when a force is applied to one or more of the plurality of longitudinal sidewalls and the plurality of lateral sidewalls of the container. The container further includes a second plurality of selectively openable and closable vents extending through the bottom wall of the container. The second plurality of vents are configured to at least partially open when the force is applied to one or more of the plurality of longitudinal sidewalls and the plurality of lateral sidewalls of the container.
Fire starter
The present invention provides apparatus for starting a fire, comprising a stack of combustible fuel elements (340,350,460,462,464) and a flammable ignition element (450) located in a combustible container (200) configured to provide at least one aperture (202) for igniting the flammable ignition element located therein. A kit of parts and a method of assembling the kit are also provided.
LEAK-RESISTANT PAPER CLAMSHELL CONTAINERS
Blanks for forming clamshell containers and the resulting clamshell containers are described. The clamshell containers include a tray and a lid that are hingedly connected together. The tray is liquid tight, and typically includes gussets on each corner to prevent leakage. The lid and tray can be locked via at least one locking mechanism, optionally two different locking mechanisms. A first locking mechanism involves a front panel on the tray, with an extension portion that terminates in a hook or tab. The extension portion can fold over the front panel of the lid, and the hook or tabs slide into a slit(s) on the top of the lid. An optional second locking mechanism involves lid detents and tray detents. In some embodiments, in the locked position, the lid detents are underneath the tray detents and the tray detents retain the lid detents in place until a force is applied.
TOY CONTAINER
A toy container is for accommodating a toy and is made of paper containing a predetermined amount of pulp. Accordingly, the toy container can be an earth-environment friendly product as compared to conventional plastic products that are not naturally decomposable.
Apparatus for safer chick transportation
A box for safe chick transportation comprises a truncated or frusto-section of a rectangular pyramid structure, with a greater lineal dimension at the base of the compartment than at its top such that when grouped in any number in excess of two, they provide a V-shaped passageway for adequate ventilation between the plurality of boxes. A vertically aligned cylindrical insert placed within the rectangular pyramid structure encompassing at least a portion of the internal area thereby eliminating corners to decrease chick mortality. The rectangular pyramid structure a base compartment operable to receive a temperature control element therein for temperature control of the box contents.
Box insert with vertical rails
An insulated box assembly including an insulated box including an outer portion including a plurality of middle portions and at least one lower portion, the at least one lower portion defining a bottom of the outer portion; an interior piece including a plurality of side panels and a bottom panel, the interior piece positioned within the outer portion, the interior piece defining an interior of the insulated box; and at least one insulated panel positioned within the outer portion, the at least one insulated panel positioned between the plurality of middle portions and the plurality of side panels; and a register system including an insert including a rail coupled to a center segment, the insert positioned within the interior of the insulated box; and a register positioned within the interior, the register defining a cutout, the cutout engaging the rail and suspending the register above the center segment.
Air vent for welded portion in plastic corrugated material, and process for forming welded portion
A corrugated plastic box and a method for manufacturing a corrugated plastic box from a blank are provided. The method includes the steps of forming rounded edge seals on the perimeter edges of the blank, pre-sealing portions of the blank—including providing air vents to allow trapped air to escape during the pre-sealing process—to form a plurality of areas in which major and minor flap slots and a glue tab are desired, ultrasonically scoring the blank to form a plurality of flap score lines, and cutting the blank through the plurality of pre-sealed flap slots and glue tab, leaving a sealed edge.
TAMPER RESISTANT FOOD CONTAINER
A tamper resistant food container includes a top panel, a bottom panel, and an adhesive strip. The top panel includes a front section, a rear section, a front wall, opposing sidewalls, and a tear away section. The tear away section is positioned on the front wall of the top panel. The bottom panel includes a front wall, a rear wall, and opposing sidewalls. The rear wall of the bottom panel is hingedly connected to the rear section of the top panel. The top panel and the bottom panel of the tamper resistant food container define a space therebetween for storing food. The adhesive strip is positioned on an outer surface of the front wall of the bottom panel for securely sealing the top panel to the bottom panel of the tamper resistant food container. A user accesses the stored food by removing the tear away section.
Tray with nesting anti-lock feature
A container including a bottom portion and a plurality of peripheral wall portions extending from the bottom portion and defining an interior area of the container. At least one peripheral wall portion has an inner surface including a feature defining an inner ledge extending into the interior area, the inner ledge being located between the bottom portion and an upper edge of the container. The at least one peripheral wall portion has an outer surface including a feature defining an outer ledge located between the bottom portion and the upper edge of the container. The inner ledge is positioned to engage the outer ledge of a similarly-configured container whereby a spacing between a stack of nested containers is defined by the outer ledge of the similarly-configured container seated on the inner ledge of the container.
