Connective protective packaging
A connective protective packaging element is provided. The connective protective packaging element may include a protective body in a high-density supply configuration. The protective body may be configurable into a low-density configuration for cushioning packaged products. The body may include an exposed surface in the low-density configuration. The connective protective packaging element may also include a bonding element attached to the exposed surface that operably bonds the exposed surface to an abutting surface by contact with the bonding element.
Cushioning member, method for manufacturing cushioning member, and packing body
A cushioning member includes a medium-filled cushioning component and a surrounding member. The medium-filled cushioning component includes a first cushioning portion and a second cushioning portion. The surrounding member includes a first tubular portion, a second tubular portion, and a connecting portion that connects an end of the first tubular portion in a direction parallel to a first central axis and an end of the second tubular portion in a direction parallel to a second central axis. The connecting portion is bendable such that a posture of the first tubular portion and the second tubular portion is changed between a parallel posture in which the first central axis is parallel to the second central axis and an intersecting posture in which the first central axis intersects the second central axis.
Cushioning member and method for manufacturing cushioning member
A cushioning member includes: an accommodating bag portion that accommodates a medium; a first fusing portion that defines the accommodating bag portion such that the accommodating bag portion is provided with an opening; a check valve having a first end located inside the accommodating bag portion and a second end located outside the accommodating bag portion, and provided at the opening; a second fusing portion that is immediately adjacent to the first fusing portion on those external sides of the check valve which are opposite in a direction intersecting a direction in which the check valve protrudes from the accommodating bag portion, and defines a channel that communicates with the opening; and a third fusing portion that is connected to the second fusing portion and seals the channel, the third fusing portion being provided across a portion of the check valve that protrudes from the accommodating bag portion.
Packaging material, packaging bag, and packaging method
The packaging material includes a packaging material body formed into a sheet shape as a whole by welding two film sheets having an upper sheet and a lower sheet together at appropriate points; an air introduction path having the packaging material body, one side thereof serving as an air introduction port and the other side sealed; a plurality of air bags having the packaging material body while being in communication with the air introduction path, and extending in a direction orthogonal to the air introduction path; and check valves provided to respective air inlets of the plurality of air bags and preventing escaping of air having been introduced through the air introduction port and introduced into the air bags through the air inlets. The packaging material body is bent and welded at appropriate points, whereby a packaging bag for storing a packaged object is provided.
BAG-LIKE CONTAINER AND BAG-LIKE CONTAINER PRODUCTION METHOD
According to an aspect of the invention, provided is a bag-shaped container including a tubular film and at least one pair of engagement portions. The tubular film has an inner surface and an outer surface, and is folded in a manner that the outer surface configures both an inner surface of a bag body and an outer surface of the bag body. The at least one pair of engagement portions projects from the inner surface of the bag body, and engages with each other.
Container bag made of sheet material
To provide a container bag 34 that can be manufactured easily by folding a sheet material 1 precisely along a folding line 11B. The sheet material 1 is prepared by bonding two films 2 and 3 together in a predetermined pattern, and the sheet material 1 comprises a plurality of cells 16 formed between the two films 2 and 3 while being joined to one another to be filled with fluid. A trunk portion 17 to be filled with a content is formed by bonding overlapping layers of a peripheral edge 9A of the folded sheet material 1. A bottom portion 13 of the container bag 34 is folded inwardly toward the trunk portion 17 along the folding line 11B. A non-bonded section 14 in which the two films 2 and 3 are not bonded together is maintained linearly within the folding line 11B.
On-demand inflatable packaging
A packaging material includes a web of pouches and an outer skin. One panel of the web has an inflation pattern that is not inflated. The web has a continuous inflation channel that is in fluid communication with the inflation pattern. Each of the pouches of the web can be inflated by inflating the inflation pattern while the outer skin already attached to the outside of the web. The outer skin is attached to the web only along edge lines of the pouches. The outer skin is detached from the web between the edge lines of the pouches. The outer skin is attached to the outside of the web such that the continuous inflation pattern extends above the outer skin.
Inflatable packaging with tear initiation feature
An inflatable web is disclosed. The web includes first and second film plies sealed together via a plurality of generally transverse seals to define a first and second inflatable chambers and an inflation region. The chambers are inflatable with a fluid and operable to contain the fluid. The sealed plies have a first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal edge. The web defines a separation region extending at least partially transversely across the web between the first and second inflatable chambers and is configured to facilitate separation thereof. The separation region includes a tear propagation line extending transversely across at least a portion of the web with an end of the tear propagation line terminating proximal to the first longitudinal edge of the web. The separation region includes a tear initiation feature including edges spaced apart from one another longitudinally to form a permanent opening in the web.
Inflatable bag
An inflatable bag includes a gas cylinder filled with a compressed gas and having a bottle mouth for discharging the compressed gas, a hole-piercing device pressable to pierce into the bottle mouth for letting the compressed gas be discharged out of the gas cylinder, an inner bag surrounding the gas cylinder and the hole-piercing device and having air holes for the passing of the discharged gas, and an inflatable outer bag surrounding the inner bag and inflatable by the gas that is discharged out of the gas cylinder and flows through the air holes of the inner bag. By the above configuration, the inflatable bag is placed in a box around the object to be protected and quickly inflated to form a filling buffer without generating heat, ensuring that the protected object is not easily deteriorated and facilitating recycling and cleaning.
CUSHIONING ARTICLE FILM HAVING RECLAIMED CONTENT
A multi-layer film, a cushioning article and a method of manufacture a cushioning article from the multi-layer film is disclosed. The multi-layer film having a barrier layer that includes a compatibilizer. The film having an oxygen transmission rate sufficient to contain a fluid to form a cushioning article.
