A container 10 for smoking articles 30 having an outer housing comprising a box 12 and a lid 14 hingedly attached to the box, an inner liner 20 disposed within the outer housing, the inner liner defining an interior volume for the smoking articles, the inner liner being sealed around the smoking articles and having an access opening 26 with a closure flap. An inner stiffener 50 having at least side walls 58 hingedly connected to a main panel for at least partially surrounding the smoking articles is provided within the inner liner, the main panel being hingedly connected to a bottom panel 54 that includes a stepped region 60 for receiving at least part of a smoking article provided in line with the access opening 26.

In an example embodiment, a pack for tobacco articles comprises an inner sleeve, and an outer box comprising front and back covers that allow access to the inner sleeve when the outer box is opened. The inner sleeve can include a front connecting panel pivotally connecting a front wall of the inner sleeve to an inner surface of the front cover and a back connecting panel pivotally connecting a back wall of the inner sleeve to an inner surface of the back cover. A slot in the outer box is configured to allow opening of the outer box by applying pressure against a bottom wall of the inner sleeve.

In an example embodiment, a pack for tobacco articles comprises an inner sleeve, and an outer box comprising front and back covers that allow access to the inner sleeve when the outer box is opened. The inner sleeve can include a front connecting panel pivotally connecting a front wall of the inner sleeve to an inner surface of the front cover and a back connecting panel pivotally connecting a back wall of the inner sleeve to an inner surface of the back cover. CHILD-RESISTANT CONTAINER ASSEMBLY
A container assembly includes an outer sleeve, a slide-out tray and a pop-up carton. The first and second sides of the outer sleeve have at least a double thickness adjacent to first and second outer sleeve apertures formed therein. The slide-out tray includes a first side with a minor first side flap folded thereon and a second side with a minor second side flap folded thereon. The slide-out tray is received in the outer sleeve. The pop-up carton is attached to the slide-out tray and located within the slide-out tray in a first position. The slide-out tray initially moves with respect to the outer sleeve by contacting the first and second side flaps via respective first and second outer sleeve apertures and the slide-out tray via a third outer sleeve aperture. The pop-up carton is moved within the slide-out tray to a position extending from the slide-out tray.
CONTAINER FOR CONSUMER GOODS INCLUDING DISPENSING MEANS
A container for consumer goods is provided, including a box to house the consumer goods, a top face of the box being open to provide a top access opening to access an interior of the box, a first box side wall including a side opening proximate the box bottom wall; a lid hingedly connected to the box back wall and movable between a closed lid position in which the lid covers the top access opening and an open lid position in which the top access opening is uncovered; and a dispenser including a tray portion to hold consumer goods and being mounted inside the box and slidable through the side opening between a closed position in which the tray portion is inside the box and a dispensing position in which a part of the tray portion protrudes through the side opening such that the consumer goods are removable.
SEALED CONTAINER FOR DISPENSING CONSUMER GOODS
A container for consumer goods is provided, including a housing to receive a plurality of consumer goods and including an aperture to dispense consumer goods from the housing. First and second sealing flaps extend across the aperture and are biased towards each other to form a seal across the aperture for sealing the plurality of consumer goods within the housing. The container includes a dispensing mechanism to dispense the plurality of consumer goods through the aperture when activated by a consumer, the dispensing mechanism configured so that actuation of the dispensing mechanism advances one of the consumer goods between the first and second sealing flaps and through the aperture. The first and second sealing flaps are configured so that they are biased towards each other after each of the consumer goods is dispensed so that the consumer goods remaining in the housing are re-sealed within the container.

A package, for holding cigarettes, including an open top side, a bottom panel and four side panels. The package includes an expandable pocket for extinguishing, storing and disposing cigarette butts. The expandable pocket is formed by a sheet of a heat resistant, non-combustible material. The expandable pocket is configured to be arranged in a folded configuration wherein the expandable pocket is substantially flat, and an unfolded configuration. The expandable pocket including a first side surface and a second opposing side surface. The first and second side surfaces are interconnected by interconnecting walls. The first side surface is substantially flat and at least partly attached to an inner side of one of the four side panels being a first side panel. A pocket opening is configured to provide access to an interior of the pocket. A tab is configured to reversibly close the pocket opening.
