DIAPHRAGM VALVE
A fitting assembly includes a fitting body and a valve assembly. The valve assembly includes a hollow pedestal, an actuator shaft, and a sealing member. The hollow pedestal includes upper and lower ends. The hollow pedestal is disposed in a valve opening defined by the fitting body such that the upper end is disposed in a passageway defined by the fitting body and the lower end is external to the passageway. The actuator shaft is disposed in the hollow pedestal and is movably coupled with the hollow pedestal. The sealing member is coupled with the actuator shaft adjacent the upper end and at least partially movable together with the actuator shaft. The sealing member is configured to selectively interface with an upper valve body to provide a seal therebetween. The fitting body and the hollow pedestal are formed of a multi-piece construction and are joined together at the valve opening.
Systems and methods for actuation of fracking slurry boxes
A system for transporting a proppant for fracking may include a transport vehicle, a proppant container, a container clutch part, and a floating clutch part. The transport vehicle may include a carriage having forks for engaging fork pockets of the proppant container. The proppant container may house proppant releasable using a release gate and actuator. The container clutch part may be connected to the proppant container and configured to transfer rotational movement to the actuator. The floating clutch part may be connected to the carriage of the transport vehicle and configured to engage and selectively rotate the container clutch part when the forks engage the fork pockets. The forks and fork pockets vary in size which leads to a potential for misalignment between the container and floating clutch parts. The floating clutch part is vertically and laterally positionable to compensate for misalignments between the container and floating clutch parts.
Aircraft Water Tank and Method for Manufacturing Same
In an aircraft water tank, a mouthpiece is attached to an inner liner, and an overflowing adhesive is received in an annular missing portion provided to an expanded portion of the mouthpiece through the gap between a skirt portion and the inner liner. Further, a sealant fills the part of the annular missing portion, which is exposed from an end of a plate portion for the expanded portion.
Proppant discharge system having a container and the process for providing proppant to a well site
A proppant discharge system includes a container having an outlet formed at a bottom thereof, a gate affixed at the outlet and positioned on the floor of the container so as to be movable between a first position covering the outlet to a second position opening the outlet, a support structure having the container positioned on the top surface thereof. The support structure has at least one actuator affixed thereto. The actuator is positioned so as to move the gate between the first position and the second position. The container has a cage affixed on the floor thereof in a position over the outlet. The gate is positioned within the cage and is movable by the actuator so as to open the gate so as to allow proppant to be discharged therefrom.
Seed storage and dispensing bin
A seed storage and dispensing bin includes a walled container having a top, a bottom opposite the top, an interior space defined between the top and the bottom and a divider dividing the interior space into first and second separate spaces each sized to receive a plurality of seeds therein. First and second openings are defined in the walled container at or near the bottom thereof, with each opening to a respective one of the first and second spaces. First and second doors are mounted to the container over the first and second openings respectively. Means are provided for moving the first door between open and closed positions thereof, and for moving the second door between open and closed positions thereof. In some embodiments, the same or different cross-sectional areas of the first and second openings may be exposed through selective movement of the first and second doors respectively.
Systems and methods for safely transporting granular material
Systems and methods are provided for safely and efficiently transporting granular material. In one embodiment, a container for granular material is provided. The container can have a top plate and a bottom plate that are coupled to one another via one or more high-strength fabric sleeves. The bottom plate can include a discharge valve for discharging the granular material in the container. The container can also include a discharge bladder that, when inflated, biases granular material within the container toward the discharge valve. The container can also include at least one barrier positioned proximate the discharge valve such that the barrier prevents at least a portion of the discharge bladder from entering the discharge valve. The barrier can allow sand or other granular material to pass through the barrier and exit through the discharge valve.
Container
A container comprises a base, side panels and a cover. The side panels are connected to the base. The cover is locked onto the tops of the side panels through a locking device. The locking device comprises automatic locks and manual locks. The automatic locks are arranged on two opposite sides of the cover, and the manual locks are arranged on the other two sides of the cover. The automatic locks and the manual locks are both adopted on the cover and used in cooperation with a tilting-prevention device, thus the container has the tilting-prevention effect, the stacking and supporting effect, and the locking and unlocking guiding and return guiding effect. The locking strength is increased, and the convenience in locking operation and unlocking operation is improved.
Raw material feed hopper and single crystal growth system
A raw material feed hopper according to the present embodiment may include a hollow tube having a raw material accommodating space formed therein, a supporter supporting the hollow tube, a cone accommodated in the raw material accommodating space so as to be able to lift up and down, a rod connected to the cone, a connector connected to an upper portion of the rod, a lifting rod connected to the connector, and an elevator installed on the supporter for lifting up and down the lifting rod.
Apparatus for sealing a vacuum tank door
An apparatus for sealing a vacuum tank door. The apparatus comprises a circular flange attached to a door panel of a vacuum tank, a horizontal crossbar connected to the center of the door panel and a lifting assembly. The lifting assembly comprises an upper linkage arm, a lower linkage arm, and a hydraulic cylinder. Activation of the hydraulic cylinder causes the linkage assembly to move downwards pulling on the horizontal crossbar and pulling the vacuum tank door towards the tank. Activation of the hydraulic cylinder also causes a connection point of the lower linkage arm and the upper linkage arm to move over-center of the connection between the lower linkage arm to the to the tank creating a tight seal between the vacuum tank door and the tank.
