Two-Part Garbage Can with Handles on the Base
A trash can for the collection and disposal of trash is disclosed. The trash can includes a base and a separable sidewall allowing for easy removal of a bag from the trash can by lifting the sidewall around the bag, rather than lifting the bag through the top of the trash can. The base includes a pair of straps that allow a user to carry it. The sidewall includes recesses that are positioned and adapted to receive the pair of straps when the sidewall rests on the base.
Trash container with induction actuated cover and adjustable detection distance arrangement and its controlling method
A trash can includes an induction actuated cover being actuated to move between a closed position and an opened position in response to an object, an actuation module being activated at one of an operation mode and a setting mode, and an adjustable detection distance arrangement. At the operation mode, the induction actuated cover is moved from the closes position to the opened position when the object is detected above an induction window within a detection range at a preset detection distance. The adjustable detection distance arrangement is arranged to store a desired detection distance at the setting mode. The desired detection distance is selectively adjusted from the induction window and is defined as a distance of the object placed above the induction window. The desired detection distance is stored to replace the preset detection distance for actuating the induction actuated cover at the operation mode.
Multi-Purpose Receptacle Lid Securement System
The present invention relates to a multipurpose lid securement system. The securement system can be used for trash cans, ice chests, storage boxes and other types of boxes that have a lid. More specifically, the system includes a round hook-like piece on the body of the receptacle and an extendable T-shaped handle attached to the lid. The T-shaped handle can be attached to an elastic band to facilitate users pulling the handle downward toward the hook. In order to secure the lid to the top of the receptacle, the T-shaped handle is elastically secured to the underside of the hook. Securing the handle to the underside of the hook tightly secures the lid to the body of the receptacle. The lid is kept closed until the T-shaped handle is manually moved from the underside of the hook.
Animal Waste Containment Assembly
An animal waste containment assembly includes a container that is positioned outdoors to be accessible to people walking their pets. A drawer is slidably integrated into the container and the drawer supports a garbage bag for collecting animal waste that is deposited in the container. A lid is hingedly coupled to the container and the lid covers the opening in the container when the lid is positioned in a closed position. A deodorizer dispenser is disposed on the lid to dispense a measured amount of the chemical deodorant when the lid is opened. A foot pedal is movably disposed in the container and a linkage is movably coupled between the foot pedal and the lid. The lid is urged into the open position when the foot pedal is stepped upon to facilitate the person to deposit the bagged animal waste into the container.
SECURE BIN FOR SELECTIVE DEPOSIT
One example embodiment is adapted for use in facilitating collection and transport of memory devices, e.g., drives, motherboards, etc., e.g., for the purposes of subsequent destruction. The example embodiment has an outer bin, also called a garage or outer enclosure, within which is placed an inner bin with wheels. Once closed and locked, the outer bin has a door that can be opened so drives or other memory devices can be inserted. The drives then fall into the inner bin and, once sufficiently filled, the inner bin be easily wheeled out from the outer bin. The inner bin has its own locking lid that is secured when transporting the inner bin with the drives, e.g., to a destruction facility or area. Other features are provided as described below. Enhanced synergistic security features include use of multi-point locking latches to secure doors and lids, metal construction of the bins, and so on. The bins are sized to facilitate efficient collection and transport of potentially sensitive data center media.
Refuse container having indicator assembly
A refuse container having an indicator assembly for informing a waste generator of contamination in a waste stream. A refuse container includes a container body comprising a receptacle portion and a lid coupled with the receptacle portion. The receptacle portion includes a plurality of walls that together define an enclosed space for containing refuse. An indicator device is coupled with the container body. The indicator device is movable relative to the container body between a first position and a second position. First indicia is provided on one of the indicator device or the container body. When the indicator device is in the first position, the first indicia are visible from the exterior of the refuse container, and when the indicator device is in the second position, the first indicia are not visible from the exterior of the refuse container.

SMART TRASH CAN
The trash can includes a can member, a fastener member for fixing a trash bag's opening, a hoist member, and a thermal sealing member mounted on the can member. The fastener member is detachably embedded in the thermal sealing member, the hoist member engages the thermal sealing member into vertical movement. The can member is also configured with a pump element, a sensor element, a power element, and a controller element. The trash bag is stretched open on the fastener member. The pump element draws air out of the can member and the trash bag is automatically expanded. The sensor element detects that the trash bag has expanded and the pump element stops pumping. The hoist member moves the fastener member upward to further expand the trash bag. The thermal sealing member automatically shrinks and seals the opening of the trash bag.

LOCKING MECHANISM FOR CONTAINER
A cart includes a body portion forming a receptacle. A lid is pivotable relative to the body portion. A lock assembly includes a hasp fixed relative to one of the lid or the body portion. A lock is fixed relative to the other of the lid or the body portion and includes a catch for engaging the hasp and an actuator in electrical communication with a controller. The actuator is configured to actuate the catch to selectively secure the hasp relative to the lock.
