A receptacle system includes a front wall, a first side wall coupled with the front wall, a rear wall coupled with the first side wall, a second side wall coupled with the front wall and a bottom coupled with each of the front, first side, rear and second side walls. A first notch extends into a top edge of the first side wall. A second notch extends into the top edge of the second side wall and through the second side wall. The first and second notches are aligned parallel with the front wall, the rear wall or both. A top includes a front edge pivotably coupled with the top edge of the front wall and a rear edge configured to meet with and partially extend into the first and second notches. A through-hole is provided in the first side wall, the second side wall or both.

A receptacle assembly configured to accommodate a bag includes a ring or a lid, and a bin or a crown including at least one wall defining an interior space, a mouth in communication with the interior space, and a rim proximate to the mouth. The rim includes at least one lip and at least one structure. At least a portion of the structure is at an elevation below the at least one lip. When the receptacle assembly is assembled, a rim-space is defined between the at least one wall and a peripheral portion of the receptacle assembly, and the structure extends into the rim-space. The peripheral portion of the receptacle assembly includes a peripheral portion of the ring or the lid. The rim-space is configured to accommodate an edge and a border of the bag.

The fastener mechanism configured along the exterior perimeter of the receptacle may be removable, rotatable, and permits height adjustment to retain disposable plastic liners of varying sizes. The soft-sided portable waste receptacle may be of varying shapes and sizes, having exterior fastener means attached on opposite sides of the receptacle.

A device for collecting soiled objects, such as used diapers, comprising a collecting container (1) closable by a cover (2) having a cover section (6) with a tubular chamber (7) open at one end providing an inlet/outlet opening (8), said cover section (6) being movable between a first position, in which an object may be deposited from the outside through said opening (8) into said chamber (7), and a second position, in which said object may drop through said opening (8) into the collecting container (1) and a transfer bag (12) of a flexible material removably mounted within said chamber (7), said bag (12) being open at one end and having a bottom cooperating with an expel body (11d) at the opposite end, wherein the collar (12b) of the transfer bag (12) is attached to said opening (8) by a locking ring (13).
