Plants for the immersion treatment of bodyworks
A plant for clip-treatment of bodies may include: at least one skid configured to support a body to be treated; at least one tank; a transportation line; and/or a system for overturning and immersing the body on the at least one skid which has been positioned above the at least one tank using the line. The line may include travel ways arranged along lateral edges of the at least one tank. The at least one skid may include lateral mounting elements which rest on the ways for supporting and moving the at least one skid above the at least one tank. The overturning and immersing system may include, on the at least one skid, a support for the body rigidly connected to a shaft transverse to the line, and which is configured to overturn the body between a first position and second position immersed inside the at least one tank.
UNIT FOR WASHING FLEXOGRAPHIC PLATES
The present invention relates to a water-based or solvent-based washing unit for washing a flexographic plate. The washing unit comprises a containment structure which defines a lower basin and at least two side basins which are supplied with the washing liquid and are arranged so that the water overflowing from the side basins is collected in the lower basin. A brush partially immersed in the liquid bath defined by the basin itself is installed at each basin.
PROCESS FOR CONTINUOUSLY GALVANIZING ELONGATED ARTICLES
A method of continuously galvanizing elongated articles conveys a plurality of the elongated articles side by side in a group through several stages. One stage is a cleaning stage that uses cleaning media to remove contaminants. Another stage sprays flux on the elongated articles and removes excess flux therefrom. The group of elongated articles is then heated. A kettle heats a galvanizing bath comprising zinc and aluminum. The galvanizing bath is circulated into the bottom of a trough and the group of elongated articles is conveyed through the galvanizing bath in the trough. The group is then cooled.
Coating Apparatus and Method
A component such as a door is coated by immersion in a fluidized bed. The component is supported by a hook assembly that moves the component within the fluidized bed during coating. The movement is cyclical and inhibits bridging of the coating material when applied to intricate articles.
Roll for molten metal plating bath and method for manufacturing the same
A roll for a hot-dip metal coating bath has a substantially cylindrical shape. At least an outer peripheral surface of the roll is formed of a ceramic material. A relatively coarse groove is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the roll in a direction crossing the rotation axis. A plurality of relatively fine grooves is formed in the bottom surface of the coarse groove along the longitudinal direction of the coarse groove. In place of the fine grooves extending in the longitudinal direction of the coarse groove, a plurality of rows of fine grooves may be formed along the crosswise direction of the coarse groove.
Apparatus and method for treating a relief plate precursor with improved liquid evacuation
An apparatus for treating a relief plate precursor, such as a printing plate precursor, with a liquid, includes a treatment compartment for treating the relief plate precursor with a liquid, and a transport system for use with one or more transport bars. A transport bar thereof is configured to be coupled to a relief plate precursor. The transport system is configured to move the transport bar with the coupled relief plate precursor through the treatment compartment. The transport bar is provided with a coupling portion configured to couple the transport bar to the transport system. A protection system is configured to guide and evacuate liquid such that the transport system is protected against wetting with the liquid of the treatment compartment.
