ADHESIVE TAPE DISPENSER, METHOD FOR NOISE-REDUCED APPLICATION OF ADHESIVE TAPE USING AN ADHESIVE TAPE DISPENSER AND USE OF ADHESIVE TAPE DISPENSERS
The present invention disclosure relates to an adhesive tape dispenser (1) comprising a handle (2), a receiving apparatus (33) with a bearing (3) for an adhesive tape roll (100), an application apparatus (38) with an application roller (4), and a rotation-resistant fixed friction bridge (5) with a bridge sliding surface (6) and a deflection bead (26), wherein the adhesive tape dispenser (1) is adapted and arranged such that, during unwinding, an adhesive tape portion (103) of an adhesive tape roll (100) present on the bearing slides or is slidable over the bridge sliding surface (6), before it meets the application apparatus (38).
POST-PROCESSING DEVICE AND RECORDING SYSTEM
An end unit includes: a processing tray including an upper surface on which a medium subjected to recording by a recording unit is mounted; a first paddle and a second paddle that transport, in direction +A, the medium mounted on the upper surface; an alignment section that aligns an edge portion of the medium, which was transported in direction +A by the first paddle and the second paddle, in direction +A; a post-processing section that performs post-processing for the medium aligned by the alignment section; and a load member that applies a load when the medium on the processing tray moves in direction −A opposite to direction +A.
Sheet feed device
A sheet feed device includes a housing, a tray, a feed roller, an arm, a pad, and a protruding portion. The housing has a sheet conveyance path. The tray includes a bottom plate having a sheet support surface that supports a sheet. The sheet conveyance path extends upward from the sheet support surface. The feed roller rotates about a rotational axis and feeds the sheet supported on the sheet support surface in a first direction. The arm rotatably supports the feed roller. The arm swingably moves about an axis parallel to the rotational axis of the feed roller. The pad is disposed on the bottom plate. The pad has a higher friction coefficient than a friction coefficient of the sheet support surface. The protruding portion protrudes upward from the sheet support surface at a position shifted from the pad in a second direction opposite from the first direction.
RECORDING MATERIAL TRANSPORTING DEVICE AND IMAGE READING APPARATUS
A recording material transporting device includes a transport belt having an endless shape and having an inner peripheral surface and an outer peripheral surface having a friction coefficient smaller than a friction coefficient of the inner peripheral surface. The transport belt transports a recording material by using the outer peripheral surface toward a reader that reads an image. The recording material transporting device further includes a driving roller that rotates while being in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the transport belt and that rotatably drives the transport belt.
Loading apparatus and printer
A loading apparatus including a support surface facing forward and inclined vertically downward from a paper exit of a printer body and configured to come into contact with a first surface of a printed material, the first surface forming a vertically downward surface in the paper exit, a braking member provided near the paper exit and configured to come into contact with the first surface and to hold a part, whixh contacts therewith, of the printed material, and a stopper configured to come into contact with a downstream leading end of the printed material at a paper ejection direction in which the printed material is ejected. The stopper is configured to be located at a first position and a second position on the support surface, in which a distance between the second position and the paper exit is greater than a distance between the first position and the paper exit.
Sheet conveying apparatus
A conveying apparatus for feeding sheets into a processing apparatus is discloses which comprises a plurality of nips within which sheets are gripped and driven along a conveying direction towards the processing apparatus, each nip being defined between a respective drive wheel and an opposing reaction surface. The drive wheels are omni-wheels configured to apply a frictional force to advance the sheets in the conveying direction while permitting free movement of the sheets in a direction transverse to the conveying direction, the reaction surfaces permitting free movement of the sheets in the transverse direction, and an elongate guide is arranged on one side of the conveying apparatus, to extend generally parallel to the conveying direction, the conveying apparatus being configured to urge conveyed sheets in the transverse direction into contact with the guide. A control system is provided to move the guide generally in the transverse direction in dependence upon sensed fiducials on the conveyed sheets, to ensure correct alignment of the sheets in the transverse direction with respect to the processing apparatus.
Adjustable Compliance of Separation Strips in a Media Dam
In a copier, printer, or similar device, paper is loaded in large quantities. To separate a top sheet of a stack of sheets from the next adjacent sheet, a dam is used, which is an element having an inclined surface in the path of the top sheet. This invention addresses devices with variably compliant separation strips, preferably a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer such as Pellethane, that are part of the dam, so that the leading edge of a media sheet will strike the inclined surface of the separation strip. By adjusting the compliance of the separation strip, different weights of media may be accommodated while minimizing the multi-feeds that may cause jamming of the device.
LOADING APPARATUS AND PRINTER
A loading apparatus including a support surface facing forward and inclined vertically downward from a paper exit of a printer body and configured to come into contact with a first surface of a printed material, the first surface forming a vertically downward surface in the paper exit, a braking member provided near the paper exit and configured to come into contact with the first surface and to hold a part, which contacts therewith, of the printed material, and a stopper configured to come into contact with a downstream leading end of the printed material at a paper ejection direction in which the printed material is ejected. The stopper is configured to be located at a first position and a second position on the support surface, in which a distance between the second position and the paper exit is greater than a distance between the first position and the paper exit.
Medium discharging device
A medium discharging device includes a paper discharging tray that is disposed below a height position of a discharging roller which discharges a medium and includes a placing surface on which the medium discharged by the discharging roller is placed, and a supporting member that is configured to be movable between a retreat position on an upstream side and an advance position on a downstream side between the discharging roller and the placing surface.
