An image forming apparatus of embodiments includes an accommodation unit and a notification unit. The accommodation unit accommodates both of a paper bundle and a packaging member therein in a state in which at least one of the paper bundle and the packaging member used to package the paper bundle satisfies predetermined conditions. The notification unit performs a notification of guidance on the predetermined conditions.

Provided is an image forming device in which a wrapped body that is a paper bundle wrapped in wrapping paper is set into a paper housing, the wrapping paper is subsequently removed and the paper bundle is exposed, and paper is conveyed by one sheet in image forming, the image forming device including: a reader that reads an image on the wrapping paper; and a hardware processor that: compares the image on the wrapping paper, the image being read by the reader, and an image on each of various kinds of wrapping paper, the image being stored in a storage; reads, from the storage, paper setting associated to wrapping paper corresponding to the image on the wrapping paper, the image being read by the reader; and sets a conveyance condition and a process condition based on the paper setting.

An image forming apparatus includes a housing, a sheet feeding cassette, and a pickup roller positioned above and on a sheet feeding side of the sheet feeding cassette and rotatable to pick up a sheet that is in contact therewith from the sheet feeding cassette. The sheet feeding cassette includes a sheet tray on which a sheet bundle and a packaging member for the sheet bundle are to be accommodated, first and second guides for supporting lateral sides of the sheet bundle and the packaging member, and a first wall on the sheet feeding side of the sheet feeding cassette and a third guide spaced apart from the first wall to support the sheet bundle and the packaging member from a trailing edge side thereof. The height of the first wall is lower than a height of each of the first, second, and third guides.

A sheet feeding device, which is included in an image forming apparatus, includes a sheet container to accommodate a recording medium, a sheet feeding body to press a surface of the recording medium in the sheet container and feed the recording medium in a sheet conveying direction, a pair of sheet position regulators to regulate a position of the recording medium in a sheet width direction perpendicular to the sheet conveying direction, and a load applier to contact the surface of the recording medium and apply a load to the recording medium at the surface. The recording medium is brought to move toward one of the pair of sheet position regulators while the recording medium is being fed. A lower face position in a standby state of the sheet feeding body is lower than a lower face position in a standby state of the load applier.

In accordance with one embodiment, an image forming apparatus comprises a cassette for paper feed configured to contain a tray capable of stacking papers stored in a packaging member of which one end portion is opened, together with the packaging member; a paper feed section configured to contain a pickup roller which picks up the papers stored in the packaging member from the opened end portion of the packaging member; a regulating member configured to regulate that the packaging member is conveyed from the tray of the cassette; and a protrusion configured to be formed and protrude from the regulating member to cover the opened end portion of the packaging member.

A device for filling and closing disposable bags for containing banknotes comprises an upper container for temporarily housing banknotes, provided with a bottom with an opening for the exit of the banknotes from the container, a piston for pushing the banknotes towards the opening on the bottom of the container, a bag made of flexible plastic film, intended to be filled with the banknotes temporarily housed in the container, a support for the bag containing the banknotes, vertically movable through controlled lowering means and placed below the container, sealing bars arranged between the upper container and the movable support, and an electromagnetic stop element that can be controlled to lock the movable support with respect to the sealing bars, said electromagnetic stop element consisting of an electromagnet applied to the movable support and of a fixed element made of ferromagnetic material, adapted to face the electromagnet in operative condition.
