SINGLE-USE CABLE PAYOFF SYSTEMS WITH REDUCED PULL RESISTANCE
Disclosed herein are disposable cable payoff systems that maintain the performance standards required for operation at commercial sites, such as durability during transport from the manufacturer and cable payoff, and low resistance cable payoff. Preloaded cable reels comprising a disposable cable payoff system are also disclosed herein. Methods for providing the preloaded cables reels are also disclosed herein.
GLASS ROLL WITH RESIN FILM
Provided is a glass film-resin composite body which makes it possible to obtain a long-length (e.g., 500 m or more-long) glass roll. The glass roll with resin film comprises a glass film, and a resin film laminated to at least one surface of the glass film through an adhesive, wherein a creep amount a of the adhesive is 50 μm or less, as measured after applying a tensile shear load per unit area of the adhesive of 5 g/mm.sup.2, to the resin film for 48 hours, in a state in which the glass film is fixed in 23° C. and 50% RH.
CONVEYANCE APPARATUS
A conveyance apparatus includes a set unit, a conveyance unit, a first sensor, a control unit, and a platen. The set unit allows a roll sheet to be set. The conveyance unit convey the roll sheet. The first sensor acquires data to be used to identify a type of the roll sheet during sheet conveyance by the conveyance unit. The control unit controls an operation on the roll sheet based on a result of the data acquisition by the first sensor. The platen supports the roll sheet. The first sensor is disposed between a position at which the roll sheet is set and the platen on a conveyance path of the roll sheet.
APPARATUS FOR ACCOMMODATING COPPER FOIL
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus for accommodating copper foil. The apparatus includes an accommodation body in which an accommodation space for accommodating copper foil wound on a core is provided, a first support portion coupled to the accommodation body to support one side of the core, a second support portion coupled to the accommodation body to support the other side of the core, a first damper portion coupled to the first support portion to be disposed between the first support portion and the one side of the core, and a second damper portion coupled to the second support portion to be disposed between the second support portion and the other side of the core, wherein the first damper portion includes a first damper body coupled to the first support portion and a plurality of first damper protrusions protruding from the first damper body.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROTECTING A TETHER LINE DISPOSED IN A PRESSURIZED PIPE
Systems and methods are disclosed for protecting a tether line within a pressurized pipe. As the tether line is extended and retracted, portions of the tether line are prevented from directly engaging jagged profiles formed in the pressurized pipe.
METHOD AND KIT FOR UNWINDING A SHEET OF MATERIAL WOUND IN A BOBBIN
The invention relates to a method to unwind a sheet of material wound in a bobbin, the method comprising: providing a bobbin of a coiled sheet, the bobbin defining an outer surface and comprising a free portion of the sheet unwound from the bobbin; arranging a compressing element on the outer surface of the bobbin, so as to define a contact line, the contact line being the line separating the free portion of the sheet from the rest of the bobbin; pressing by means of the compressing element the outer surface of the coiled sheet at the contact line with a force comprised between about (4) Newton and about (16) Newton; and unwinding the sheet from the bobbin pulling the sheet in the unwinding direction.
METHOD FOR UNWINDING A BOBBIN OF A COILED SHEET AND KIT TO UNWIND A SHEET OF MATERIAL WOUND IN A BOBBIN
The present invention relates to a method for unwinding a bobbin (12) of a coiled sheet (13), the method comprising the steps of: providing a bobbin of a coiled sheet, the bobbin having a first rotation axis (17) and comprising a free portion (14) of the sheet unwound from the bobbin, the free portion (14) defining a contact line (16) as a line separating the free portion and the remaining of the coiled sheet (13); providing a roller (30) having a second rotation axis substantially parallel to the first rotation axis (17); putting the roller (30) in contact with the bobbin (12) at the contact line (16); unwinding the sheet from the bobbin (12) pulling the sheet in an unwinding direction such that an angle between the free portion of the sheet and a radius of the bobbin at the contact line is comprised between about 110 degrees and about 150 degrees or between about 200 degrees and about 300 degrees; and while unwinding the sheet from the bobbin keeping the roller in contact with the outer surface of the bobbin. The present invention also relates to a kit to unwind a sheet of material wound in a bobbin.
Creel structure integrated on the fiber placement head of automated fiber placement equipment
This invention relates to a creel structure integrated on the fiber placement head of the automated placement equipment, comprising: fiber placement head mounting base, fixed yarn box component fixed and mounted on fiber placement head mounting base, and revolving yarn box component mounted on fiber placement head mounting base, the said revolving yarn box component is coupled with the fiber placement head mounting base through revolving shaft. This creel structure can avoid intervention that arise due to equipment maintenance and spindle replacement, making equipment maintenance and spindle replacement more convenient and swift.
SUBSTRATE CASE AND SUBSTRATE ACCOMMODATION APPARATUS
A substrate case includes a shaft portion around which a sheet-shaped substrate having a circuit area in which a circuit manufacturing process is performed is wound; and a cover portion that accommodates the substrate in the state of being wound around the shaft portion, the shaft portion having a holding portion that holds an area different from the circuit area at a winding start portion of the substrate.
WEB MATERIAL DISPENSER AND WEB MATERIAL FEED ASSEMBLY FOR A WEB MATERIAL DISPENSER
