SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DISPATCHING ELEVATORS
20220098003 · 2022-03-31 · ·

A method for dispatching an elevator car that includes determining a first duration for each of a plurality of first elevator cars to travel from a current location to a first location, and dispatching at least one of the first elevator cars to the first location when the first duration of the at least one first elevator car is less than a threshold duration. The method includes determining a second duration for an occupant to travel from the first location to a second location, and each of a plurality of second elevator cars to travel from the current location to the second location, when the first duration for the first elevator cars exceeds the threshold duration. The method includes dispatching at least one of the second elevator cars to the second location when the second duration of the at least one second elevator car is less than the threshold duration.

Elevator and Control Method for the Same

An elevator includes a plurality of elevator units each including a car and a unit control section that controls operation of the car; and an operation management device that manages operation of the plurality of elevator units, in which, in a case where it is determined that any of the elevator units has left any of passengers behind, the operation management device additionally and immediately dispatches the car of another elevator unit to a floor where any of passengers has been left behind.

DESTINATION DISPATCH SECTORING

A method of operating a building elevator system within a building having a plurality of floors including: controlling a building elevator system comprising a first elevator system having a first elevator car and a second elevator system having a second elevator car; determining one or more sectors for the plurality of floors in response to at least one of a time of day, manual input, a density of the down peak traffic, and whether there is simultaneous up peak or inter-floor traffic, the one or more sectors comprising a first sector having a first plurality of floors and a second sector having a second plurality of floors; assigning the first elevator car to the first sector; and assigning the second elevator car to the second sector.

Elevator movement plan generation

One embodiment provides a method for optimizing schedules of a plurality of elevators in a building having a plurality of floors, including: receiving, from a user, an indication requesting that an elevator from the plurality of elevators stop at a particular floor, wherein each of the plurality of elevators has a schedule comprising floors where the elevator will stop; identifying the number of users in the elevator waiting area of each of the particular floors where an indication requesting a stop has been received; and updating, in view of the identified number of users at each of the particular floors, the schedule for the plurality of elevators to optimize the stops for the plurality of elevators, wherein the updating comprises dynamically routing the plurality of elevators upon (i) receipt of indications and (ii) identification of the number of users at each of the particular floors.

SPECIALIZED, PERSONALIZED & ENHANCED ELEVATOR CALLING FOR ROBOTS & CO-BOTS

A method of collecting data using a robot data collection system including: collecting data on a landing of a building using a sensor system of a robot; transmitting the data to a conveyance system of the building; and adjusting operation of the conveyance system in response to the data.

ELEVATOR CALLING COORDINATION FOR ROBOTS AND INDIVIDUALS

A method of controlling a first elevator system comprising a first elevator car is including: receiving a first elevator call from a first robot for the first elevator system to transport the first robot from a first elevator bank on a landing to a destination landing; and adjusting operation of at least one of the first robot and the first elevator system.

MANAGING ELEVATOR CALL ASSIGNMENTS IN RESPONSE TO ELEVATOR DOOR REVERSALS
20210284486 · 2021-09-16 ·

A method of processing elevator calls in an elevator system. The method includes counting a number of elevator door reversals at an elevator car; comparing the number of elevator door reversals to an elevator door reversal threshold; upon the number of elevator door reversals exceeding the elevator door reversal threshold, reassigning at least one elevator call for the elevator car to one or more second elevator cars.

ELEVATOR CONTROL CABINET WITH A VOICE COMMUNICATIONS APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MONITORING A CABINET DOOR
20210163258 · 2021-06-03 ·

An elevator control cabinet used in an elevator system includes a voice communication apparatus having a microphone, an electronic control arrangement, an evaluation unit, and a cabinet housing having at least one cabinet door. The voice communication apparatus is used to execute a service or emergency call or establish a communication between the elevator and a public communication network. The microphone detects a surrounding noise in the control cabinet. The evaluation unit converts the detected noise into a noise pattern and then compares this noise pattern with a reference sound pattern that is predetermined for a surrounding noise in the cabinet housing with the open or closed cabinet door. This reference sound pattern is saved in a storage unit of the control arrangement. In dependence on a result of the comparison, the evaluation unit will recognize whether the cabinet door is open or closed.

Method Of Operating An Elevator System By The Specification Of A Predetermined Travel Route, an Elevator System, and an Elevator Controller For Carrying Out Such A Method

Disclosed is a method of operating an elevator system having a plurality of elevator cars that are simultaneously and individually moveable in an elevator shaft between a plurality of floors. A predetermined travel route is assigned to an elevator car or a plurality of elevator cars. This travel route is defined by a sequence of stopping points that is fixed in advance for the respective elevator car and at which stopping points the respective elevator car is intended to make a planned stop. The elevator cars to which a travel route is assigned are then moved in accordance with the travel route assigned to the respective elevator car. Further disclosed is an elevator controller and to an elevator system for carrying out such a method.
