An automotive lift system includes at least one stationary primary lift and a mobile lift caddy configured to remove a vehicle from a primary lift while the vehicle is elevated above the workplace floor and then transport the vehicle to another location. The lift system employs detachable pivotable lift arms that are removably attached to the lift arms of the primary lift, and which can transfer to the lift caddy. Also, the lift caddy may have clamp lift pads that can be used to remove the vehicle from the primary lift and either also remove the pivot lift arms or not remove the pivot lift arms. This system can also be used on existing primary lifts.

A jack pad device adapted to transfer loads between an aircraft and a jack device for jacking the aircraft, and a method for jacking an aircraft are provided. In one non-limiting example, the jack pad device includes a jack pad body. A jack engagement portion extends from the jack pad body and is configured to engage the jack device. A first coupler is attached to the jack pad body and is configured to couple to the aircraft to hold the jack pad device to the aircraft.

The adapter has two forwardly extending lifting arms thereon which lifting arms can be placed underneath a wheel so as to lift the wheel of the vehicle or related device such as a motorcycle. The adapter is designed to have left and right, angle iron frame members such that the inwardly extending flanges of the angel iron frame members receive and cradle the saddle of the floor jack therein. The adapter has front and rear locking rods which are used to lock the adapter onto the upper surface of the saddle of the floor jack. A plurality of apertures are provided in the adapter for adjusting the width of the locking rods so that the adapter can be used with a variety of sizes of saddles of the floor jack.

When it is determined that there is no risk of contact with the boom as the detected obstacle stops, or moves away from the crane vehicle by turning left or right, or passing an intersection, the controller releases the driving of the brake device to enable travelling of the crane vehicle.

The MPT comprises: a rear vehicle door that serves as a ramp and load support platform. The MPT raises a machine to a desired height for repairs with the aid of two hydraulic cylinders, a plurality of different shaped trays with wheel locking holes for securing a machine's wheels. The trays can be extended at different lengths and distances apart. The MPT can provide improved convenience for on-spot repairs, increased space utilization, increased safety and security for holding a machine on the MPT, increased functionality for the MPT to accommodate a wide selection of small engine machines in different repairing positions, service requirements, and increased adaptability to aversive environments.

An apparatus for operating a vehicle lift comprises at least one lifting assembly, a control unit, and a control pendant. The control pendant is configured to remotely control the motion of the vehicle lift through the control unit and to permit the lifting of a vehicle by the push of a single button on the control pendant and/or positioning of lift features in preparation for lifting a particular vehicle by the push of a single button. A menu screen and a plurality of menu buttons may be used together by a user to select one vehicle profile from a plurality of vehicle profiles. The selected vehicle profile may correspond to the vehicle being lifted and provides specific data with respect to how the at least one lifting assembly and/or the lift features should be moved for the particular vehicle being lifted.
