A pod processing device includes a top plate having a first aperture, and a cutting plate having a top surface and a bottom surface. The cutting plate can be attached to the top plate such that the cutting plate is spaced a distance from the top plate. The cutting plate can include at least one cutting blade extending at an angle from the top surface of the cutting plate along a portion of the distance towards the top plate. The pod processing device can be used to remove the lid from a pod to facilitate composting of the contents of the pod.

Hand-held cutting tool are provided that open blisters of a blister pill pack. The hand-held cutting tools includes a handle, an anvil, and a blade. The handle includes two arms having proximal and distal ends, and a connecting portion extending from the proximal ends of the arms. The connecting portion maintains spatial separation between the proximal ends of the arms. The anvil and blade extend from respective distal ends of the arms. The blade includes a cutting edge facing the anvil. The arms are configured to move between an open state and a closed state. When the arms are moved from the open state with the blister positioned between the anvil and the cutting edge to the closed state, the cutting edge is configured to puncture and cut the blister open to enable user access to pills inside the blister.

The disclosure relates to a container opener for opening a planar portion of a sealed container by cutting the planar portion of the container, while leaving little to no sharp edges on the container at the point of the cut.

A can opener (1) for opening a can (2) comprises a rotating device (4), a body (5), a traction device (6), a removal device (8) comprising at least one engagement element (9), and a cutting device (7). The traction device (6) is configured to adapt at least a traction device cutting position (tc) and a traction device lifting position (tl). The traction device (6) in the traction device cutting position (tc) and the cutting device (7) are arranged so as to open a can (2). The traction device (6) in the traction device lifting position (tl) and the engagement element (9) in a removal device lifting position (rl) are arranged such as to engage a lid (3) of an opened can (2). An actuation of the removal device (8) t removes an engagement between the traction device (6) and the engagement element (9) with the lid (3).

A manual skiver (10) for precise removal of outside material from an elongated device, such as a medical catheter or the like, includes a longitudinal recess (11) in a planar bottom surface (24) at the front end, a transverse replaceable blade (28) therein, a removable cover (32), and a handle (22) extending from the back end thereof. A foil cutter has a unitary container engaging sleeve, a unitary foil cutter assembly, and a cutting blade retained therebetween. The container engaging sleeve has a cylindrical outer shell, a container opening receiving cavity, a lip configured to contact with a container affixed foil seal, and a blade retainer. The foil cutter assembly has a body that is inserted within the outer shell, and a cutting blade retainer. The cutting blade is extends from the foil cutter assembly, but is recessed within the container engaging sleeve to prevent accidental contact. The foil cutter is operably pressed onto a receptacle opening sealed by an affixed foil seal, and then rotated to pierce, remove, and retain the foil seal. A seal pusher has geometry complementary to the foil cutter assembly, and inserts longitudinally through to discharge foil seals that have been separated from containers, preferably into an empty container.

The disclosure relates to a container opener for opening a planar portion of a sealed container by cutting the planar portion of the container, while leaving little to no sharp edges on the container at the point of the cut.

The invention provides an automatic stop method and device for a can opener. When a first rotation frequency of a bearing in a first preset time is smaller than a second rotation frequency of the bearing in a subsequent second preset time in the process of opening a can by a can opener blade and a difference between the second and first frequency reaches a preset value, it is determined that repeated cutting occurs, and the blade will be stopped in time to avoid problems caused by repeated cutting. Meanwhile, mean values of multiple data acquired within the first and second preset time are calculated, avoiding the problems of an excessively high and long instant processing burden of one time of data acquisition and errors caused by data acquired once, improving the timeliness and accuracy of the first and second frequency, and can opening can be controlled more accurately.

A cutter is configured to be mounted to a push rod of a caulking gun. The push rod includes a pushing portion for pushing a container containing a caulking material and a rear end portion opposite to the pushing portion. The cutter includes: an assembling portion, configured to be mounted at the rear end portion of the push rod; and a cutting portion, connected with the assembling portion and including a cutting member. A caulking gun including the cutter is further provided.

A multifunction money clip includes a first plate and a second plate connected to the first plate via a plurality of connectors at the corners of the first and second plate, the first and second plate forming an internal area. The multifunction money clip further includes a plurality of tools each rotationally connected to the first and second plate via one of the plurality of connectors, the plurality of tools located in the internal area when retracted. The multifunction money clip further includes a double clip located on the first plate, a first portion of the double clip opening in a first direction and configured to trap items between the first plate and the clip and a second portion of the double clip opening in a second direction, opposite the first direction, and configured to trap items between the second clip portion and the first clip portion. A small clip is included opposite the double clip to attach to a pocket.
