CAN FILLING/SEAMING DEVICE AND CAN FILLING/SEAMING METHOD
A can filling/seaming device that fills a can with a liquid content and seals the can with a lid by double-seaming allows a filler and a seamer to be integrated in a compact arrangement. A can filling/seaming device includes a filler that fills a can with a liquid content while conveying the can by rotation of a filling turret, a seamer that attaches a lid to the can filled with the content by double-seaming, and a forwarding turret provided between a carrying-out position of the filling turret and a carrying-in position to the seamer to circularly convey the can filled with the content, wherein a lid supply part is provided on the forwarding turret.
CONTAINER-HANDLING APPARATUS
A container-handling apparatus, in particular a filling machine for filling cans or similar containers with liquid contents, has a first transporter for a container infeed, a downstream rotor with a plurality of handling positions for handling the containers, and a second transporter downstream of the rotor and forming a container outfeed. The second transporter is a chain conveyor with at least one guide finger having first and second guide portion, which receives the as yet unsealed containers and guides them by the first guide portion initially along a first, at least partially curved transport path portion, continuously in contact with a guide rail, before the second guide portion of the guide finger then conveys the container on a straight, second transport path portion along the container treatment path.
Rotating handling carousel having collision avoidance control
A rotating handling carousel includes a transfer device arranged on the outer circumference of the handling carousel. The transfer device includes a carry-along element which receives and transports an article and a guide element. The guide element is arranged in such a way that the article transported by the carry-along element is guided into or out of a handling station, for which the guide element extends into an area of the handling station in such a way that the guide element does not collide with the handling device at the transfer position. A sensor detects whether a handling device or the article are not in the transfer position, and/or whether the article is located in the handling station at all, and, after such a determination, issues a collision signal based on a kind of the transfer device.
CARBONATED DRINK FILLING METHOD AND CARBONATED DRINK FILLING SYSTEM
In a carbonated drink filling method, a preform is continuously transferred and introduced into a heating furnace, heated to a temperature for molding the preform into a container, molded into the container in a molding die after the preform exits the heating furnace, conveyed in an upright position during which a coolant (F) is injected to a bottom of the container to cool the bottom. The container is filled with a carbonated drink (a) through a mouth portion of the container, and the mouth portion is then sealed. The coolant is injected in the cooling to the bottom of the container from a nozzle opening on either or both sides of a conveyance line of the container, and the nozzle opening is directed diagonally upward to the bottom of the container in such a manner that an extension of the nozzle opening intersects with the conveyance line of the container.
Container labeling machine
A container labeling machine, which comprises a base structure which forms a region for the input of the containers to be labeled and at least one region for the output of the labeled containers and supports elements for the conveyance of the containers from the input region to the output region, at least one container labeling assembly being provided along the conveyor; the conveyor comprises at least two carousels provided with respective supporting plates for individual containers. At least one respective labeling assembly is associated with each one of the carousels. The conveyor furthermore comprises, substantially at the input region, elements for sorting the containers fed to the input region toward one and the other of the carousels and comprises elements for unloading the labeled containers from the carousels and for sending the labeled containers toward the output region.
TRANSFER STAR-WHEEL AND METHOD
Transfer star-wheel (1) of containers (100) made of thermoplastic material provided with concave closures (200), comprising: a rotary carousel (2) having a plurality of supporting stations (3) for supporting the containers (100), each supporting station (3) comprising a pocket (4) at the external circumference of the rotary carousel (2) for receiving and supporting the neck (100b) of one of the containers (100), characterized in that each supporting station (3) comprises a striking element (5) located above the corresponding pocket (4), said striking element (5) being configurable in an operative position in which it is in contact with the concave closure (200) of the container (100) supported in the corresponding pocket (4), and a neutral position in which it is spaced from the concave closure (200).
TROUBLE RECOVERING METHOD OF ASEPTIC FILLING MACHINE AND ASEPTIC FILLING MACHINE
A trouble recovering method of an aseptic filling machine and an aseptic filling machine which can resume operation at an early stage if a trouble occurs in any of portions during an operation of the aseptic filling machine are provided.
A door of a chamber in which the trouble occurred is opened while a pressure in the chamber other than the chamber in which the trouble occurred is kept positive, the trouble is removed and then, the door is closed, an inside of the chamber in which the trouble occurred is cleaned as necessary, the inside of the chamber is sterilized and then, the operation of the aseptic filling machine is resumed.
CONTAINER-HANDLING APPARATUS
A transporter has stars arranged in series such that a container is transferred at a transfer point that is common to two successive stars. Some of the stars rotate about a fixed axis whereas other stars rotate about an axis that moves relative to the fixed axis.
MACHINE FOR FILLING CONTAINERS OF TWO DIFFERENT TYPES WITH A LIQUID SUBSTANCE, IN PARTICULAR WITH A BEVERAGE
A machine (100) for filling containers (90) of a first type, such as bottles, and for filling containers (95) of a second type, such as cans, with a liquid substance. The machine (100) comprises a carousel filler (1), a first device (11) for loading the containers onto the carousel filler (1), a second device (12) for removing the containers (90) of the first type from the carousel filler (1), a third device (3) for removing the containers (95) of the second type from the carousel filler (1). Each filling unit (2) comprises a plate (21), which forms a resting surface (210) for a container to be filled, and a filling head (22) that is configured to fill containers (90) of the first type and to fill containers (95) of the second type. The first device (11), the second device (12) and the third device (3) are positioned in respective angular positions on the circumferential path (15) of the carousel filler (1), relative to which the third device (3) is in an angular position interposed between the first device (11) and the second device (12). The third device (3) is configured to assume an operating condition, in which the third device (3) removes the container that is located on a plate (21) passing through the angular position of the third device (3), and a non-operating condition, in which in use the third device (3) allows the container on the passing-through plate (21) to continue the path towards the second device (12).
Container-processing device
A filling machine includes a rotor comprising plural container-filling positions, an inflow star upstream from the rotor, and a linear conveyor downstream of the rotor that receives the container from the rotor at an outflow point after the container has been filled but before the container has been closed. An interface having a curved portion receives the container at the outflow point and conveys the container toward the linear conveyor.
