The invention relates to a carbonized water dispensing device (1) provided with a carbonized water conditioning chamber (2), which conditioning chamber (2) is provided downstream of the carbonator (7) and upstream of the carbonized water dispensing outlet (5), for receiving a mixture of carbonized water mixed with unresolved CO2, which conditioning chamber (2) is dimensioned to hold a single serve of carbonized water with a headspace, and which carbonized water conditioning chamber (2) is provided with an outlet valve (17) and a gas outlet (18). According to the invention, the carbonized water dispensing device (1) is configured to, upon receiving a beverage dispensing order, provide the empty carbonized water conditioning chamber (2) with a single serve volume of carbonized water, and hold the single serve of carbonized water prior to dispensing the single serve volume of carbonized water.
GAS-INJECTED BEVERAGE APPARATUSES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
Gas injection apparatuses include a primary gas chamber, a gas reduction chamber, and a fluid dispensing passageway. The primary gas chamber has a first cross sectional size and is fluidly connected to a gas inlet and a gas outlet. The gas reduction chamber has a second cross sectional size and is fluidly connected to the primary gas chamber, the gas inlet, and the gas outlet. The fluid dispensing passageway is fluidly connected to the gas reduction chamber by a gas delivery orifice having a third cross sectional size.
WATER DISPENSING STATION
A drink station is provided with an alkaline filter cartridge in fluid communication with an ambient temperature water line provide alkaline water, and with a chilled water mixed with the alkaline water at a spigot to provide chilled alkaline water. A hot water heating element is located below the spigot so hot water flows upward for dispensing from the spigot, with a vent line between the heating element and spigot helping hot water to flow from the spigot to the heating element. A refrigeration system and a carbonation system is also provided. The refrigeration system uses the ice-bank technology. A submersible agitator pump improves heat exchanged between ice-bank and water by forced convection. The agitator pump operating based on the temperature of the drinking water. A figure eight evaporator coil can provide two cylindrical ice banks and two chilled water coils to increase the chilled water capacity.
MIXING VALVE, RETRO-FITTING METHOD OF A DISPENSING DEVICE FOR DISPENSING A COOLED BEVERAGE MIXED WITH A GAS, AND METHOD FOR DISPENSING A BEVERAGE MIXED WITH SAID GAS
A mixing valve is described for a dispensing device for dispensing a cooled beverage mixed with a gas, comprising: a first inlet which can be fluidically connected to a first source of gas and can be supplied with the gas; a second inlet which can be connected to a second source of the beverage without gas and can be supplied with the beverage not mixed with the gas; an outlet which can be connected to a first dispensing mouth for dispensing the beverage mixed with the gas; the dispensing mouth is available in a closed or open configuration to prevent or allow dispensing of the beverage mixed with said gas; a chamber interposed between the first and the second inlet on one side and the outlet on the other side and adapted to allow mixing of the gas and non-mixed beverage, thus forming the beverage mixed with the gas; and regulation means, configured to allow, when the first dispensing mouth is arranged in the open configuration, the passage, respectively, of a first flow value of gas between the first inlet and the outlet and a second flow value of non-mixed beverage between the second inlet and the outlet.
