A compressed gas delivery adapter for use with a conventional self contained gas-powered beverage dispensing device is operative to couple the beverage dispensing device to an external source of compressed gas. The compressed gas delivery adapter is structured at one end to attach to a conventional self contained gas-powered beverage dispensing device, while mating with and sealing against an annular seal of the beverage dispensing device which typically engages an annular tip of a standard cylindrical 6.5 gram cartridge of compressed gas. At the other end, the compressed gas delivery adapter is configured to receive a hose that is connected to a larger, external compressed gas supply. In this regard, the compressed gas delivery adapter facilitates the delivery of compressed gas from an external gas supply, which may be of any size, to the conventional self contained gas-powered beverage dispensing device.

A liquid product distribution network includes a keg distribution monitoring and reporting apparatus associated with a keg. The apparatus includes a radio transmitter device and sensing circuitry for sensing and communicating physical properties associating with the keg. A top or bottom chime of keg physically protects the sensing circuitry during keg distribution in the keg distribution network. The apparatus also includes a battery power supply unit fitted within and protected by the top or bottom chime. The apparatus further includes a unique identifier associated with the sensing and reporting device. The apparatus further includes a mobile communications device is configured to identify the keg based on the unique identifier associated with the sensing and reporting device embedded therein, and receive and process the radiofrequency signals from the radiofrequency signal transmission circuitry of the identified keg passively and without user interaction, for monitoring the physical properties and location of the keg.

LIQUID DISPENSING HEAD

A dispense head is removably joined to a bottle, such as a wine bottle, by having a hollow cylinder extend into the bottle and on one end sealed to a neck of the bottle with gasket means for sealing the bottle in a gas tight manner and supporting the bottle, allowing the bottle to hang from the dispense head. In one embodiment a set of annular gaskets of different diameters may be provided for bottles of different neck sizes.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MONITORING, CONTROLLING AND OPTIMIZING FLOW OF PRODUCTS DELIVERED TO CUSTOMERS VIA CONTAINERS THAT FLOW IN A DISTRIBUTION NETWORK
20170337535 · 2017-11-23 ·

A liquid product dispensing container device for affixes to a liquid product dispensing container, such as a beer keg, for monitoring, controlling and/or optimizing flow of a liquid product delivered to consumers from the liquid product dispensing container. The liquid product dispensing container device includes a casing for attaching it to the liquid product dispensing container. The liquid product dispensing container device includes a power source, a radio transmitter circuit, a radio/processing module processing radio signal transmissions of information relating to the liquid product dispensing container. An antenna associates with the radio/processing module for sending and receiving the radio signal transmissions between the radio/processing module and at least one stationary reader and/or mobile device.

Carbonated fluid dispenser with ultrasonic foaming mechanism

The embodiment relates to beverage dispensing, and more particularly to the dispensing of a beverage, from a beverage container into a vessel, providing a portion of the beverage as foam atop the dispensed beverage. To avoid the reduction of absorbed carbon dioxide in a carbonated beverage, increased atmospheric pressure is employed to move the beverage from the container through the apparatus and into the vessel. An oscillating means provides a sonic wave through a conduit and the liquid therein; the sonic wave initiates the reaction between the carbon dioxide and the ingredients in a carbonated beverage to cause the liquid to foam prior to dispensing into the vessel.

DETACHABLE DISPENSING SYSTEM FOR BOTTLED LIQUID

A system for dispensing a liquid from a bottle 13 comprises an assembly 17, 18 and a stopper 19 to be introduced into a bottleneck, which stopper can be separated from the assembly. The stopper 19 comprises a liquid dispensing pipe 14, 16 with a electromagnetic valve 15 and a gas path 12 having a check valve 11 therein. The assembly comprises a solenoid 10 and a tank 1 containing gas for driving the liquid from the bottle. The tank is connected via a further electromagnetic valve 3 to gas pipes 8 and 9. The stopper which closes off the bottle can be connected to the assembly such that gas pipe 9 connects with check valve 12 and solenoid 10 surrounds electromagnetic valve 15. By actuating programmable button switch 4 both electromagnetic valves 3, 15 open for a preset time so that a metered quantity of liquid is dispensed from the bottle. Alternatively, another button switch 5 allows to dispense a non-preset volume of liquid.

FLUID PRESSURIZATION AND DISPENSING SYSTEM
20170240405 · 2017-08-24 ·

A fluid pressurization and dispensing system, including a coupler releasably attached to a vessel via an attachment means for securing a vacuum seal between the coupler and the vessel for maintaining pressure within the vessel, refreshing the gas composition within the vessel, and dispensing of a fluid contents externally from within the vessel without disturbing the vacuum seal. The coupler has a rigid single body unit having a tap head, a shank, and a cap which are contiguous thereof the coupler including a plurality of channels each integrally machined within an interior portion of the coupler. The system regulates a flow of gas from a pressurized gas cartridge via a gas pressure regulator, enables venting excess gas via a gas pressure relief valve, enables measurement of gas pressure within the vessel via a gas pressure gauge. Another embodiment of the system includes a coupler including a bi-level tap head.

Method and apparatus for beverage extraction with improved gas cylinder access
09739388 · 2017-08-22 · ·

Devices and methods for extracting a beverage from a container, such as a wine bottle. Beverage can be extracted from a container by inserting a needle through a container closure, such as a cork, delivering pressurized gas into the container via the needle, and dispensing beverage from the container via the needle. A pressure regulator may control a pressure of gas introduced into the container, and a lance used to pierce a pressurized gas cylinder may include a leading face arranged to reliably pierce a cylinder closure. The regulator may include valve features to reduce valve chatter or hammering and provide a more reliable pressure seal.
