VENTED SPOUT FOR A LIQUID STORAGE CONTAINER
20210031989 · 2021-02-04 · ·

The spout includes a first member and a second member. The first member includes an elongated and generally tubular first main body having at least two longitudinally extending internal passageways, one being an air duct and the other being a liquid duct. The air duct ends with at least one constricted opening through which the air circuit exits the air duct. A valve is provided at the rear end of the first main body and is made integral therewith. The valve engages a valve seat provided at the rear end of an inner conduit positioned inside the second member and in which a rear section of the first main body is slidingly movable. The spout may be provided with a child-resistant closure (CRC) device.

Dispensing tap and methods for using the same

A dispensing tap (700) for liquids includes a body (702) connected to the neck of a container (900), a dispensing head (708) with an outlet or mouth (714), and a throat (710) connecting the body to the dispensing head. A shut off valve (716) is configured for sealing engagement with the mouth of the dispensing head, and a piston (718) is axially guided within the dispensing head. The piston includes a peripheral seal (720) slidably engaged with an interior surface of the dispensing head, and a valve stem (722) coupled to the shut off valve. The piston is selectively actuable between a normally closed position an open position. A vent (740) is in communication with an interior of the body and the vent is opened and closed with movement of the piston and shut off valve.

Dual Receptacle, Multi-Function Button System

A dual port dispenser button having an elastic receptacle button which is constructed and arranged, when depressed, to actuate two valves, each having a different function.

Front push tap

A front push tap dispenser has a flow configuration and a sealed configuration. The tap comprises a tap body, a spring button member and a valve seal member, with the two members connected by a flexible stem having two ends, each end connected to the spring button member and the valve seal member. When in the sealed configuration the spring button holds the flexible stem and the valve seal member so the valve seal member is sealingly engaged to the inner wall of the dispensing port. When in the flow configuration the spring button is depressed, which causes the flexible stem and the valve seal to move downwardly to unseal the dispensing port to allow fluid to be dispensed. When the spring button is released, it elastically springs back to the undepressed position, causing the valve seal member to sealingly engage with the inner wall of the dispensing port.

The piston is selectively actuable between a normally closed position an open position. A spring is captured between the piston and the dispensing head normally biasing the piston and shut off valve to the closed position. A vent is in communication with an interior of the body and the vent is opened and closed with movement of the piston and shut off valve.

CONTAINER AND CLOSURE ELEMENT INSERTABLE INTO A CONTAINER OPENING
20190270631 · 2019-09-05 ·

A closure element to be inserted into a container opening includes a cylinder having at least one lateral opening and a piston displaceable and sealed in the cylinder. In a starting position, the piston prevents the discharge of a flowable medium out of the container. The piston diameter is larger than the cylinder diameter and the cylinder is adapted to be elastically expandable at least in a region corresponding to a displacement length of the piston. A container which is filled with a flowable medium and which is provided with a closure element is also provided.
