CONTROL DEVICE FOR OPENING/CLOSING A VALVE OF A VALVED CONTAINER, ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A VALVED CONTAINER AND SUCH A CONTROL DEVICE
A control device (1) for controlling opening/closing of a valve (16) of a valved container (11), said valve (16) comprising a valve body (17) provided with an orifice (18), a shutter (19) for shutting the orifice (18), the shutter being made at least in part out of a magnetic material, and a return member (20) for returning the shutter (19) of the valve (16) into the closed position of said orifice (18), said device (1) including at least one location (3) for receiving the valve (16) of said container (11), said location (3) comprising a housing (31) into which the valve (16) of the container (11) is suitable for being inserted, and a control system (5) for controlling opening of the valve (16), which system is suitable for being positioned at least in part around said location (3), said control system (5) being configured to hold the shutter (19) of the valve (16) in a position in which the orifice (18) of the valve (16) is open when the valve (16) is in its state in position in said location (3). The control system (5) has at least one permanent magnet (6) suitable for exerting a force of attraction or of repulsion on the shutter (19) in the direction for opening the shutter (19).

A material transfer system for storing, transferring and dispensing viscous material, such as fluids and liquids, includes a material containment vessel with an upper region incorporating a motive force and a bottom region with a material ingress and egress opening. A diconical or other shaped force transfer device is located in the material containment area. The force transfer device is an energy transducer when the material containment is filled with highly viscous materials, such as adhesives, sealants, mastics or lubricating greases. The system's performance can be improved by applying a surface treatment to the wetted surfaces of the system to change the physical properties at the fluid/vessel interface.

REFRIGERATOR APPLIANCE WITH ACCELERATED DISPENSING
A refrigerator appliance includes a water supply system with a supply conduit connectable to a pressurized water supply such that a flow of water is flowable through the supply conduit to an exit of the supply conduit positioned at a dispenser recess. A dispensing valve is coupled to the supply conduit downstream of a flow restriction. A water tank is connected to the supply conduit downstream of the flow restriction and upstream of the dispensing valve. The water tank is configured such that a compressible medium within the water tank is compressed by water from the supply conduit when the dispensing valve is closed.
SYSTEM FOR PREPARING A PERSONALIZED COMPOSITION USING PRESSURE
A preparation and dispensing system prepares and dispenses a personalized composition from N reserves (501-502) of active compounds (A1-A2), N being an integer greater than or equal to 1, which is accurate, quick, easy to implement, hygienic and economical. The system comprises a pneumatic-pressure generator (200) connected to a pressure distributor (300) comprising N pressure changeover switches (301-306), each one having at least one inlet (I1) connected to the pressure generator, one inlet (I2) connected to atmospheric pressure and an outlet (311-316) connected to an inlet of a reserve of active compound.

GREASE TANK WITH ANTI-TIPPING FOLLOWER
A tank for transporting, storing, and dispensing viscous materials is disclosed having a cylindrical body, and spherical ends. The tank further comprises an ellipsoidal follower device used to force the viscous material through the tank, the follower device having an upper half, and lower half, and a centerline. A plurality of stabilizing fins are rigidly connected to the ellipsoidal follower device at the centerline and extending axially along the tank's inner wall, the stabilizing fins disposed between a periphery of the ellipsoidal follower device and an inner wall of the cylindrical body. The fins serve as an anti-tipping device to maintain the follower in the proper orientation even upon rested in a horizontal position.
REHABILITATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
The present disclosure integrates an actuated tilting rehabilitation table, video tracking of the patient arm and opposite shoulder, a low-friction forearm support with grasping force sensing, remote data transmission and additional weighing means, one or more large displays, a computer and a plurality of simulation exercises, such as video games. The patient can be monitored by a local or remote clinician. The table tilts in order to increase exercise difficulty due to gravity loading on the patient's arm and shoulder. In one embodiment, the actuated tilting table tilts in four degrees of freedom.
Environmentally friendly fluid dispensing system
Environmental friendly automotive fluid dispensing systems and are provided. One disclosed system provides for the controlled dispensing of an automotive fluid selected from multiple automotive fluids. A quantity of fluid to be dispensed can be designated and the system can dispense the designated quantity of the selected fluid. A pump assembly is used to transfer automotive fluid from a selected container to a dispensing gun in a controlled fashion. The product dispensing gun can include a check valve for preventing fluid from exiting the dispensing gun when no fluid is being transferred to the dispensing gun by the pump assembly.
