SYSTEM FOR CAPILLARY ELECTROPHORESIS FOR PEPTIDE AND PROTEIN ANALYSIS
The invention provides a novel method of coating the inside of a capillary with a polymeric material. The method can include introducing a catalyst-free solution of a monomer and initiator, wherein the monomer is present in about 1-10% (w/v) and the initiator is present in 0.1-1% (w/v), into a capillary and thermally initiating polymerization of the monomer thereby providing a capillary comprising an internal polymeric coating for separating, identifying, and quantifying components of an analyte.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING A COATING LAYER COATED ONTO THE INNER SURFACE OF A CONTAINER AND A CONTAINER OBTAINED WITH SUCH A METHOD
A method for producing a layer for coating the inner surface of a container and a glass or plastic container obtained by said method, wherein said container is suitable for containing products biocompatible with humans and/or animals. The method includes: forming a solution containing a solvent, water, a molecular precursor comprising alkoxy groups and an acid as a catalyst, mixing said solution to initiate hydrolysis and condensation, applying the resulting solution onto at least one portion of the inner surface of the container, while the solution is in the process of gelling, the resulting applied solution is then dried at a temperature for a predetermined time, before curing. The acid is citric acid, wherein said citric acid is at a concentration of less than 6 mol/l, and in that the solution comprises less than 1.5 units of precursor for each volume unit of acid.
COATED GLASS ELEMENT
A coated glass element includes: a glass surface; and a coating that coats at least part of the glass surface. The coating includes at least one layer. The at least one layer of the coating fulfills the following parameter: [Si.sub.2C.sub.5H.sub.15O.sub.2.sup.−].sub.20/[Si.sub.2C.sub.5H.sub.15O.sub.2.sup.−].sub.80≥1.0. [Si.sub.2C.sub.5H.sub.15O.sub.2.sup.−].sub.20 are counts of [Si.sub.2C.sub.5H.sub.15O.sub.2] ions, measured by a time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (TOF-SIMS), at 20% of a time a sputter gun beam needs to reach the glass surface and [Si.sub.2C.sub.5H.sub.15O.sub.2.sup.−].sub.80 are counts of [Si.sub.2C.sub.5H.sub.15O.sub.2.sup.−].sub.80 ions, measured by a TOF-SIMS, at 80% of a time a sputter gun beam needs to reach the glass surface.
COATED GLASS ELEMENT
A coated glass element includes: a glass surface and a coating that coats at least part of the glass surface. The coating has at least one layer. The at least one layer of the coating fulfills the following parameter: [Al.sup.+].sub.80/[Al.sup.+].sub.20≥1.8. [Al.sup.+].sub.20 are counts of [Al.sup.+] ions, measured by a time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (TOF-SIMS), at 20% of a time a sputter gun beam needs to reach the glass surface and [Al.sup.+].sub.80 are counts of [Al.sup.+] ions, measured by a TOF-SIMS, at 80% of a time a sputter gun beam needs to reach the glass surface.
TEST METHOD FOR QUALITY EVALUATION AND COATED CONTAINER
A coated container includes: a container having a surface; and a coating applied to at least part of the surface to form a coated surface. Leaching of at least one of one or more types of ions or one or more types of compounds is determined by performing an alkaline treatment on at least part of the coated surface to obtain an alkaline treated surface and performing an acidic treatment on at least part of the alkaline treated surface to obtain an acidic treated surface. The leaching of the at least one of one or more types of ions or one or more types of compounds from the coated surface is 5.00 mg/l or less.
GLASS HAVING COLORED LAYER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
To provide glass including a colored layer and a manufacturing method thereof.
Provided is glass containing one or more glass components selected from the group consisting of Ti ions, Nb ions, W ions, and Bi ions. The glass includes a colored layer having an arbitrary shape.
