PREPARATION METHOD OF SIC POROUS CERAMIC MATERIAL AND POROUS CERAMIC MATERIAL MANUFACTURED BY USING SAME
A preparation method of a SiC porous ceramic material and porous ceramic material manufactured by using the method, comprising: mixing a SiC aggregate, a sintering aid (zirconium oxide), a pore-forming agent (activated carbon) and a polymer binder with a reinforcing agent (SiC whiskers) according to a certain proportion, and obtaining a porous ceramic material via forming, drying and high-temperature sintering. The porous ceramic material has a high strength, a high porosity, a good thermal shock resistance and a low sintering temperature, and can server as a filter material of high-temperature flue gas and a carrier material in vehicle exhaust purification.
NOVEL SHAPES FOR TANGENTIAL FLOW SEPERATION MULTICHANNEL TUBULAR ELEMENTS INCORPORATING TURBULENCE PROMOTERS, AND METHOD OF FABRICATION
The present invention relates to a tangential flow separator element for separating a fluid medium for treatment into a filtrate and a retentate, said separator element comprising a monolithic rigid porous support (2) of rectilinear structure with a plurality of channels (3) formed therein for passing a flow of the fluid medium for treatment between an inlet (6) and an outlet (7) for the retentate, in order to recover a filtrate from the outside surface (5) of the support.
According to the invention, the monolithic rigid porous support (2) defines obstacles (9) to the flow of the fluid for treatment, which obstacles extend from the inside walls (31) of said channels, are identical in material and porous texture to the support, and present continuity of material and of porous texture with the support, the obstacles (9) generating variations in the flow sections of the channels.

METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A SINGLE-PIECE COLUMN STRUCTURE FOR THE SEPARATION OF A FLUID MEDIUM
A method of manufacturing a separator element for obtaining molecular and/or particulate separation by tangential flow of a fluid medium for treatment into a filtrate and a retentate, the element having a structure (2) of at least two porous rigid columns (3) made of the same material, positioned side by side to define, outside their outside walls, a volume (4) for recovering the filtrate, each column (3) presenting, internally, at least one open structure (5) for passing a flow of the fluid medium, opening out in one of the ends of the porous column for inlet of the fluid medium for treatment, and in the other end for outlet of the retentate. The element is a single-piece rigid structure (2) made as a single piece that is uniform and continuous throughout, without any bonds or exogenous additions.

CEMENT-BASED CALCINED BOARD-SHAPED CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL
An object of the present invention is to obtain a cement-based calcined board-shaped construction material having improved impact resistance.
The cement-based calcined board-shaped construction material of the present invention is characterized by being produced by adding 0.5 to 5 wt % of a ceramic inorganic fiber and/or a mineral inorganic fiber to 100 wt % of a compound comprising 5 to 40 wt % of Portland cement, 5 to 30 wt % of a glass powder, and a remainder occupied by a refractory aggregate mainly composed of a silica-alumina refractory raw material, kneading the resulting material, then shaping the kneaded material into an elongated board shape by extrusion, and subsequently calcining the shaped material.
Also, it is the cement-based calcined board-shaped construction material which is produced by sticking a glass fiber sheet to the rear side of the cement-based calcined board-shaped construction material.
