USE OF A BAG HAVING AN INNER AND AN OUTER COMPARTMENT FOR FERTILIZERS
Use of a packaging system for mutually incompatible agrochemicals, particularly for fertilizers, wherein said package (5) comprises: an external bag (12) and an inner bag (10) thereby forming two compartments; the inside of the inner bag being the inner compartment (10d) and the space between the inner side of the external bag and the outer side of the inner bag being the outer compartment (11d); wherein a first of the at least two mutually exclusive fertilizers is packaged in the inner compartment, and a second of the at least two mutually exclusive fertilizers is packaged in the outer compartment.
BIODEGRADABLE ADDITIVE
A biodegradable additive is provided to enhance decomposition of a packaging material and/or to release nutrients into the soil as the packaging material decomposes. The biodegradable additive can be applied to a surface of the packaging material as a coating and/or as an adhesive to bond two or more layers of the packaging material together. The biodegradable additive includes an organic fertilizer having one or more nutrients such that the biodegradable additive can release the one or more nutrients when the packaging material decomposes.
DISPOSABLE DIAPER RECYCLING AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF
One embodiment provides a modular green roof tray, house plant growth media and horticulture growth media, and a tree protection mat for weed and moisture control made from recycled disposable diapers. The growth medium and tree protection mat contain superabsorbent materials from diaper that can absorb waters and greatly reduce irrigation so to provide a drought resistant feature. One embodiment also provides a manufacturing process to perform 100% recycling of disposed diapers.
CULTIVATING MATERIAL COMPOSITION
Provided is a cultivating material composition including a cultivating substrate and a bio-cellulose film, wherein the bio-cellulose film is in contact with the cultivating substrate, such that highly increased yield and quality of crops, a shorter harvest period, less water and nutrient sources, and low cost can be achieved.
Biochar products and production
Tools and techniques for biochar production and biochar products are provided in accordance with various embodiments. For example, some embodiments include a method of biochar production that may include introducing a compound that includes at least carbon, oxygen, and hydrogen into a reaction chamber. The compound may be heated to a temperature of at least 1,000 degrees Celsius in the reaction chamber such that the compound reacts through a pyrolysis reaction to produce biochar. The produced biochar may be collected and/or further processed in some cases. In some embodiments, the compound includes at least biomass or a waste product. In some embodiments, the temperature of the reaction chamber is at least 1,100 degrees Celsius. In some embodiments, the compound has a residence time in the reaction chamber between 10 seconds and 1,000 seconds to produce the biochar. Some embodiments include biochar that may include graphite or graphene.
Tree or plant protection mat
One embodiment provides a modular green roof tray, house plant growth media and horticulture growth media, and a tree protection mat for weed and moisture control made from recycled disposable diapers. The growth medium and tree protection mat contain superabsorbent materials from diaper that can absorb waters and greatly reduce irrigation so to provide a drought resistant feature. One embodiment also provides a manufacturing process to perform 100% recycling of disposed diapers.
ENRICHED COIR
The present subject matter is directed to a method of making a coconut coir product comprising providing coconut coir husks; sieving fibers from the husks to yield desired size coir fiber; collecting the desired size coir fiber; mixing a treatment mixture; mixing the treatment mixture with the desired size coir fiber to form a combination; allowing the combination to react for an initial treatment time of at least 2 hours to produce a reaction; drawing a sample from the combination; testing the sample to determine one or more measured values by measuring for sodium value, potassium value, magnesium value, calcium value, or some combination thereof; and comparing the one or more measured values to one or more standards to determine if the reaction is complete.
ENRICHED COIR
The present subject matter is directed to a coconut coir product comprising coconut coir having some values for electrolytes of interest in a range as measured by photoelectric flame photometry, or flame emission spectroscopy, or inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES).

Materials suitable as substitutes for peat mosses and processes and apparatus therefor
Processes capable of producing bulk materials suitable for use by the horticulture industry, resulting bulk materials produced thereby, and applications for these processes and materials. Preferred bulk materials have physical properties similar to peat moss and comprise individual materials, each at least partially having a twisted, curled, clumped and rolled structure. The individual materials may further comprise small granular particles dispersed throughout the twisted, curled, clumped and rolled structure. The individual materials may be rolled fibers such that the bulk material has physical properties similar to sphagnum peat moss so as to be particularly suitable as, for example, a soil conditioner, an absorbent material, a chemical carrier, or a filtering material. Alternatively, the individual materials may be rolled particles such that the bulk material has physical properties similar to milled peat moss so as to be particularly suitable as propagation media.
