INTRACELLULAR DELIVERY VEHICLE
An intracellular delivery vehicle of which surface is covered by a positive charge, an intracellular delivery complex in which a component or compound desired is loaded in the intracellular delivery vehicle, a temperature-sensitive probe comprising the intracellular delivery complex, and a method for measuring the intracellular temperature by the temperature-sensitive probe are disclosed. The intracellular delivery vehicle is useful on account of its capability of easily delivering the component or compound desired inside the cell without inhibiting cell proliferation.
Curable compositions and membranes
A membrane obtainable from curing a composition comprising: (i) a curable compound comprising at least two (meth)acrylic groups and a sulphonic acid group and having a molecular weight which satisfies the equation:
MW<(300+300n) wherein: MW is the molecular weight of the said curable compound; and n has a value of 1, 2, 3 or 4 and is the number of sulphonic acid groups present in the said curable compound; and optionally (ii) a curable compound having one ethylenically unsaturated group; wherein the molar fraction of curable compounds comprising at least two (meth)acrylic groups, relative to the total number of moles of curable compounds present in the composition, is at least 0.25.
Coated tubular construct for biological and industrial applications and method of making a tubular construct
A coated tubular construct for biological and industrial applications includes a plurality of channels, where each channel is radially surrounded by a wall comprising a first polymer, and a conformal coating comprising a second polymer is disposed on an outer and/or an inner surface of each wall. A method of producing a tubular construct includes 3D printing a template structure comprising a sacrificial material and a photoinitiator, and immersing the template structure in a first prepolymer solution comprising a first prepolymer and a co-initiator. During the immersion, the template structure is exposed to light, and the first prepolymer undergoes radical polymerization to conformally coat the template structure with the first polymer, forming a coated template. The sacrificial material is removed from the coated template, and a tubular construct comprising the first polymer is formed.

Dental cement composition comprising (i) a particulate filler reactive with a polyacid in a cement reaction; (ii) a water-soluble polymerizable compound of the following formula (1), AXn (1) wherein A is a linker group containing at least n nitrogen atoms and optionally one or more acidic groups, X are moieties containing a polymerizable double bond and forming an amide bond with a nitrogen atom of A, which X may be the same or different and are represented by the following formula (2) wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are independent from each other and represent a hydrogen atom, a C.sub.1-6 alkyl group or a group (CH.sub.2).sub.mZ, wherein Z is COOM, OPO.sub.3M.sub.2, PO.sub.3M.sub.2, SO.sub.3M, and M is independently a hydrogen atom or a metal atom, and m is an integer of from 0 to 6, L is a bond or a C.sub.1-6 alkylene group; and n is an integer of at least 1; provided that at least one X cannot be a (meth)acryl group; and (iii) an initiator system; optionally a polyacidic polymer having polymerizable double bonds; and optionally water. ##STR00001##

Dental cement composition comprising (i) a particulate filler reactive with a polyacid in a cement reaction; (ii) a water-soluble polymerizable compound of the following formula (1), AXn (1) wherein A is a linker group containing at least n nitrogen atoms and optionally one or more acidic groups, X are moieties containing a polymerizable double bond and forming an amide bond with a nitrogen atom of A, which X may be the same or different and are represented by the following formula (2) wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are independent from each other and represent a hydrogen atom, a C.sub.1-6 alkyl group or a group (CH.sub.2).sub.mZ, wherein Z is COOM, OPO.sub.3M.sub.2, PO.sub.3M.sub.2, SO.sub.3M, and M is independently a hydrogen atom or a metal atom, and m is an integer of from 0 to 6, L is a bond or a C.sub.1-6 alkylene group; and n is an integer of at least 1; provided that at least one X cannot be a (meth)acryl group; and (iii) an initiator system; optionally a polyacidic polymer having polymerizable double bonds; and optionally water.
